Private Transfer from Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport to hotel in Zagreb

Our first trip to Croatia. Our driver politely met us as we exited baggage claim and we were escorted us to a Mercedes van and went to the hotel. All good.

Clean vehicle, excellent and professional driver, and a quick and efficient trip! Will definitely use again when traveling to Zagreb!

Experience was great. Our flight time was changed because of a missed connection and then our bags were lost so needless to say, our original arrival time was revised a few times. The driver was ready and waiting when we walked out. He was polite and efficient. Highly recommend!

This review is in 2 parts. The online reservation system (horrible!) and the actual transportation company/car/driver (amazing!). RESERVATION: I booked a private transfer to pick my husband and I up at the Zagreb, Croatia airport and bring us to our hotel in Ljubljana, Slovenia. A drive of approx 1 hour and 45 mins. I stated in the "notes" section of my reservation the name of our hotel and the city/country where we were going. My reservation was confirmed quickly and I printed and filed the confirmation away. Unfortunately, I did not read the actual confirmation until 3 months later when we arrived at the airport and noone was waiting for us with a sign with our name as promised. We were STRANDED at the airport. Gulp. Not a good feeling and panic set in. I eventually found a phone number on another email I had received and was relieved when someone actually answered. He knew who I was and instructed me to go out the terminal and someone would be coming in 5 minutes. We had already been waiting for 20-30 minutes. We eventually found a driver who I saw earlier when we arrived but he was waiting for another group. The driver called the same guy I had spoken to earlier and handed me the phone. The "guy" explained the problem that I had booked a ride to Zagreb city center not to Slovenia. He also stated he tried calling me 5 times and emailed me about the problem but I never answered. I checked my phone and my email and found no missed calls or emails from him. The good news, we could get a ride, but would have to pay an additional 200 euro! We were so relieved we could get a ride to our final destination, we accepted the additional charge. Had I been notified of my mistake when I made the reservation I could have shopped around for a better rate. There needs to be improvement in the reservation system so mistakes like this don't happen again. I take responsibility for not reading the confirmation details earlier, but I had stated in my reservation the hotel and city name. The reservation should NOT have been accepted in the first place!!! This would have avoided a whole lot of stress and confusion. TRANSPORTATION: The driver was able to take us to our destination with some maneuvering of other rides and drivers. We were so relieved that we could get a ride, we were willing to pay the additional amount and were on our way in a nice, clean and comfortable Mercedes sedan with a young, capable, and friendly driver (who was fluent in english which was a nice bonus)! Thank you to the driver for rearranging his rides to take us where we needed to go. We are grateful!

From the moment I walked through the arrivals doors and saw the friendly face holding up my name, to the moment we arrived at the hotel, this was a fantastic experience. Great, friendly conversation all the way. Car was a late model Mercedes Benz in superb condition. Excellent driver. Felt relaxed and comfortable. The best start to my stay in Zagreb I could have wished for!

Everything went smoothly. Tour operator was waiting when the plane landed. Thank you for an easy shuttle.

Very good English and right on time. Very nice after a long trip. Gave us tips about Zagreb as he drove. Very helpful.

Dario was waiting for us when our flight arrived late. The car was nice, the ride was great and he was a really nice guy.

The driver waited for us while we did business w Croatian Airline. A pleasant ride from the airport to the hotel w a lovely personable man! Will use this service again!

Booking was easy and payment secured. We were welcome in the arrival lounge by our driver. As we were 4 passengers including a baby, with 4 suitcases and bags we needed a large vehicle and we got a nice Mercedes Vito, with a baby seat and enough space. We were quickly driven to our hotel.
