This activity will end right where it started.We can arrange to pick up from all Central Hotels in Zagreb. You will receive an email one day prior to the trip if you have a Hotel Pick up with your pick up time. It is possible for the guide to be up to 10 minutes late because of multiple pick up locations and traffic.
This day trip to Ljubljana and Bled starts with an early morning pickup from your Zagreb hotel. Your ride over to Ljubljana takes about an hour and a half, so relax in your air-conditioned minivan.

Once you reach Ljubljana, which is Slovenia’s capital city, your guide takes you through the old city center. Admire the architecture of old buildings in Baroque and Art Nouveau styles. See where locals buy food, and stop by the Ljubljanica River to see the Triple Bridge. Afterward, your guide gives you some time to journey through the city on your own. Now is also a great time to grab lunch (own expense).

Your next stop on this tour is Bled, a resort town in the foothills of the Julian Alps. Here your guide takes you to Lake Bled and the 11th-century Bled Castle. Please note the boat ride and entrance to the castle are not included in the tour price. Then, your guide sets you off on your own for some free time to go where you please in Bled.

Your tour ends with a drive back to your hotel in Zagreb.

Stjepan is an amazing guide and really made the day a special one. I thoroughly enjoyed the day trip to Ljubljana and Bled. I would suggest the tour departs Zagreb an hour earlier to maximise the day in Slovenia. We had a hold up on the border which impacted the amount of time in Slovenia and we didn’t have enough time to enjoy Bled.

Everything is perfect. The guide is Patrick, he is professional, nice and very helpful. You can also go up to the castle (Ljubljana grad) to view the city from a higher position. It takes 10-15 minutes on foot. The second stop is Lake Bled, it’s an amazing place. I guess it will be more beautiful in autumn.

I booked the day trip from zagreb to Ljubljana and Bled Lake. What an experience it was. We were a small group pf 8 people and our guide/driver kept giving us information throughout the way. Unfortunately I do not remember his name but he was very informative and also accommodating. I wish I could have stayed a day. My recommendation is also to offer this trip with the option of staying overnight at the lake. Would be a great addition. Thanks again

The trip was perfectly paced. We managed to see the most interesting parts of Slovenia. Our tour guide Dino was very knowledgeable and friendly, he fulfilled all of our requests to make our journey memorable and did all he could to make us happy. I sat in the front seat because I have motion sickness and we talked all the time. At the end of the trip it felt like he was a Friend rather than a tour guide. If you are wondering if you should book this tour or not. Stop wondering and just do it, it's the best!
