Washington DC City Day Tour with Stops at Top Attractions

It was my first time in DC and I booked this tour based on the reviews that I read about it - I’m so glad that I did! ... Since I was the only one who booked the tour for the day, Dean picked me up from my hotel (instead of having me meet him at the usual meeting place) and he served as my personal tour guide. I was really impressed with the extra effort he put into creating slides on an iPad to share supplemental information for a lot of the sites that he showed me. (For e.g., since we couldn’t go inside the Pentagon, he showed me photos of the Memorial benches for all the people whose lives were lost during 911 at the Pentagon, etc.) ... He’s professional, kind (he always offered to take my pictures for me and showed me where the best spots to take photos were), and he was definitely a wealth of knowledge! I loved that he let me take my time when I wanted to walk and explore certain spots a bit more, and he made sure to really point out the good stuff that I otherwise would have missed... Oh, and when I found out that I needed to order tickets the day before to tour the Washington Monument (new rule in place because of Covid), he gave me practical advice about registering on the website the night before so I didn’t lose out on getting a ticket that day that I purchased one (since they were so limited in the number of tickets they were giving out per day) ... I cannot say enough great things about this tour! Also loved talking to Dean about his own personal experience of DC. If you’re going to DC, this tour with Dean is SO WORTH IT!!!

This tour was amazing! Dean was very polite and knowledgeable about the area. He pointed out buildings and spots that weren't included in the tour description. He gave ample time for us to get out to walk around and take pictures. The pick up spot was super easy to find and he even started our tour a few minutes early. Water and phone chargers were provided. This was the perfect way to see DC as my first time here! I loved it! Definitely worth the time and price of tour! Tip: We toured on a Sunday and were delighted to find that street parking is free on Sundays! Definitely a bonus! :)

Very knowledgeable of the history of the city. We enjoyed our 4 hour tour. Never stayed quiet during the tour.

From the moment Mr. Dean (DC TOURS) picked us up from our Hotel he made us feel very comfortable especially because of the pandemic. He explained to us the history and pointed out other things that weren't on the agenda. On e of our favorites was Visiting the Lincoln Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Monument and the Vietnam Memorial

Our tour guide arrived a little early because many of us had coffee and there was no place nearby with restrooms open, due to Covid. He was courteous and friendly and made this a nice tour.

Our tour guide was very informative. Gave us plenty of time to explore. Highly recommend. Great job. Wish we had time to do the night tour with him. Next time in town will definetly book with them. If it is your first time to city this is the best way to see it.
