We had a great time on the tour. Serena was a very accommodating host and we got to visit two very different wineries and tasted about 10 different wines with lots of amazing local charcuterie.

The tour was good! It was not too much time in van.. very comfortable ride. We visited two wineries, both beautiful, learned a lot about making Amarone.. the tasting rooms created a terrific ambiance, the selection of wines had a nice progression from very fresh to the Classic Amarone. The cheese, cold cuts, fruits, nuts to accompany were all from the region & delicious. Our guide was friendly, fun and knowledgeable, thank you Elizabet!

We had an amazing afternoon on this wine tour! Our guide was knowledgeable and made the ride to the vineyards a true learning experience! Visiting two family run vineyards and having tastings with the owners made the tour extra special. We ate delicious cheeses, salumi and chocolate to pair with the various wines. I highly recommend this tour! Book it now!

A thoroughly enjoyable excursion. We were driven in a comfortable minibus from the centre of Verona out into the surrounding countryside, and on to the vineyard. Marie, our guide and driver, was wonderful, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and spoke excellent English. The tour around the vineyard, the explanations of the processes, the history were all a fascinating precursor to the main event - the tasting. A selection of whites and then reds, interspersed with superb local salamis and cheeses made for a wonderful experience, building up to the Amarone wines themselves. We were given two to try, the latter which was 2007 vintage was one of the best I have ever tasted. Having been so appreciative of the local cheeses we had been served, Marie took us to a local specialist cheese producer on our way back to Verona, which provided an opportunity for even more tasting and a few purchases. A thoroughly enjoyable excursion.

Don't waste your money! Very, very poor. Only lasts a couple of hours, go to one place in the Valpolicella region and although my friend purchased over 100 of wine which wasn't cheap by the way the guide couldn't wait to take the taster bottles off the table!!! Wouldn't recommend. Went to an excellent one in Florence which was the best I have ever been too so think I need to stop comparing every other wine tasting with that one as I know nothing will ever compare!!
