Amazing but very long
, Dec 2021
Very informative tour and Susan was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and attentive. The tour was very long, but this was mentioned in the description, so just be aware of this and wear comfortable shoes and a warm coat, if you’re going in winter like we did. All in all, I’d recommend for a crash course if Venice!

Dea Iain_H, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are very happy you had such an amazing time with Susan and would recommend our Venice in a Day, despite its length! Being a full day tour, it is indeed one our most strenuous services, as we must visit several locations in order to give a comprehensive introduction to the city. Thank you again for trusting us with your holidays. We hope your time in Venice was fantastic and that we will have the pleasure to "walk again together", perhaps in other locations, soon! All our best,

Moses was our tour guide! I can’t tell you enough we wasn’t 100 percent sure that we wanted to do the tour but wow we are so glad we did it made the trip perfect we learned so much didn’t have to Que at all his knowledge was just amazing he could go on and on the as all very fascinating was nice having others there, you get a hour and half break which is so well needed there is a lot of walking then you get the gondola ride which lasted about 35 mins only 4 or 5 fit on a boat at a time which is nice your not all cramped in, I just can’t recommend this tour enough it’s a must if you in Venice for a short while it gave us plenty of time to relax on the other days we also did a ghost tour which was good that added to the information we learned in the day as well, started at 8:15am and ended at 4:15pm there are plenty of chances to go toilet to
Our tour guide, Mark, did...

Our tour guide, Mark, did a great job and covered a lot of territory and history, while still keeping a a manageable pace & supplying facts in an entertaining way. It started early before the crowds and we had a break in the day which gave us time to eat lunch on our own.
Small area but covered lots

It was a long day but worth every minute. You get so much more out of cities when you do tours. This small group tour was attended by some lovely people and was led by native Pamella. The first few hours were spent walking through many books and crannies of Venice, where Pamella discussed history, city organization, points of interest, etc. People say you can’t get lost in Venice but you can and we were glad that we had Pamella to guide us. It was just the right amount of wandering. We then went on a nice leisurely gondola ride with an incredible gondolier who was so charming and proud to be Venetian. I’m glad that he took us mostly through smaller canals so we could “get lost” in Venice. We were so impressed and we don’t impress easily. We met back up, walked for a little while, and then broke for a 1.5 hour lunch, which was appreciated. We were able to eat and then get some more shopping in. After regrouping, we did two skip-the-line tours. First to the Doge’s Palace which was beyond comprehension and illustrated the vast wealth of the Venetian state. Then we skipped the line and had St. Marks mostly to ourselves and it exceeded both Notre Dame and St. Peter’s in my estimation. We ended the tour after St. Marks and felt we really familiarized ourselves well with the city. DO NOT waste HOURS of your time to wait in line just to save 20 Euros. Skip the line and see something else that’s incredible. This is an excellent tour and had all ages represented, except for young children.

It was well paced and entertaining. The tour guide was well informed and threw on some quirky facts about the Venetians of the past.
Perfect way to get to know Venice.

Perfect way to get to know Venice on our first day. Our guide, Mosé, was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and he filled the day with interesting information as well as personal stories and anecdotes - I would highly recommend.
Do not miss this tour!
