Private Transport from Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal to Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

I am so sorry to hear you had a poor experience with our service. Unfortunately, the Port of Vancouver has made many modifications this season and one was related to limousine pick up and drop offs at the passenger level below. You are correct that we should have notified you of the change so you could make a decision to alter the vehicle type or, at the very least, know you would have a short walk to the terminal. In my experience, the walk should not have been a 1/4 mile. The elevator is located just inside the hotel lobby and you arrive on the vehicle deck about 70 feet from our designated drop off area. In response to your concerns about your return reservation, please review the response from us to you on July 12 at 1030 am. Your reservation request indicated your "disembark" time was 09:00 am. We know it will take approx 30 minutes after your disembark to clear customs and collect your luggage so we responded with a "pick up" time at 09:30 am. This would give you the time you needed to complete those steps and not interfere with the required travel time needed to complete the transportation to the airport without incurring extra charges. As we did not have any further correspondence from you, we thought you had received the immediate update sent from Viator. Our drivers are kept in a holding lot 5-10 minutes from the pick up location and no transportation company is permitted to wait inside the terminal. Our driver was dispatched to you immediately and arrived to you at approx 09:40. I apologize for the misunderstanding between you and our office manager who said the driver was down below, she meant at the holding lot not inside the terminal. As you booked a regular SUV on your outbound, we did not expect you to proceed to the street level. Mike, your inbound driver, mentioned to you at drop off that an alternate proceedure only applied to limousines. I am sorry for any inconvenience. If you are traveling to Vancouver again in the future, please contact me directly and we will do our best to make your next experience with us a 5 star review.
