Great 4hrs watching 3 Humpback whales. Got close enough to get great photos but not close enough to disturb the whales. Disappointed not to see Orcas but the water was quite choppy and they were quite a distance away. Saw (and smelt!) a colony of sea lions and harbour porpoises. Great guides!

It took an very long time to get to the few Orcas that we saw and the boat stayed a great distance from the orcas. We barely saw a form in the water. It was chilly returning the 1.5 hours on the trip back. We saw on humpback from a very long distance away. Something is wrong if there are all the whales to view from Vancouver Island. Not worth the time or money.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! This was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life! We took the sunset option and it was so stunning! We had heard that the sightings leaving from Cowichan Bay were better than the ones from Victoria so we went for this tour and it was totally worth it! We felt very lucky as it took us just a few minutes to get to see the killer whales and there weren't boats nearby at the time too! Some boats that came all the way from Victoria and other places just arrived later think of the extra sighting time we got while this people spent it travelling all the way there!. The tour guide was so good, very experienced and passionate, we learnt so much from him! We got to also see porpoise, seals, eagles and seabirds as well as to explore that coastal area which was really nice. I could not recommend this tour more, we had the best time!
