Easy way to reach Banteay Srei & Big tour, without a hassle

Pick-up was made on time, shuttled to the HQ of the tour operator where we were assigned to specific buses for each tour. We had enough time at each of the temples. Free water was offered. Lunch was taken at a pricey restaurant, compared to prices in Siem Reap, but the food was very good. Overall, it is a good & easy way to do the Big Tour at Angkor & reach Banteay Srei for a good price, with a guide & without having to negotiate a price.

The tour provider was very organized and as described the tour was a small group of 8. Our guide Sopheap was very knowledgeable and friendly. He provided an informative tour of Banteay Srei and 5 other temples. His English was generally good but when explaining something in great detail his pronunciations were difficult to understand. Typical of many tours the lunch stop at our expense was at one of the most expensive restaurants (2-3 times the local restaurant prices). Fortunately we ate at large breakfast before the tour and ordered a small lunch. We would recommend this tour with the noted shortfalls.

The tour was nice and we really did...

The tour was nice and we really did it in a group of just two persons. We saw a lot of temples and the guide was good. What we didn't like was the attitude of the guide Tim when in the car in the way of retorn to the hotel he gave us an envelope and told us it was for his tips. Twenty minutes later he told us don't you forget about my envelope and we told him that we would give it when we arrive to our hotel, at the end of the tour . We found it very very rude. We usually give always tips but the way he asked for it incomodated us and we found it very bad manners. You should tell him a tip is something voluntari, something you needn't to ask for with so insistence. We feltl very embarraced even when we have decided previosly that we will give him some tip as we always do.

My wife and I decided to take this...

My wife and I decided to take this tour of the Temples surrounding Angkor Wat on our first day in Siem Reap and then take a sunrise/sunset tour at Angkor Wat the following day. We were collected from our hotel in Siem Reap slightly later than anticipated due to heavy traffic that day but our hotel reception staff very kindly phoned the company and we were assured that the guide, 'Peter' and driver were on the way. We joined the very friendly small group - 8 in total - and made our way to the Angkor Wat park ticket office to purchase our passes which was very busy with long queues. However, the process was fairly efficient and we were soon on our way to visit the 6 Temples on the schedule. Peter was excellent, with a vast knowledge of the history and architecture of the area and it was a very interesting and enjoyable full day, albeit quite tiring in the heat and humidity. At lunchtime we stopped at a restaurant called Sala Russey which served very tasty food at reasonable prices in comfortable surroundings overlooking the lake. It was a great introduction to the Angkor Wat area for us, made very enjoyable by Peter's excellent commentary and the company of others in the tour group. We have no hesitation in recommending tours arranged by this company, Siem reap Shuttle Tours.

First rate tour. I took several day tours with this company, and they were all excellent in their own way. My guide was very helpful, and took many wonderful pictures of us. We were a small group of 3 participants. Excellent value for the money. Thank you Siem Reap Shuttle tours of offering such excellent service at a low cost.
