Departure Time

7:00 AM
Board your tour vehicle upon pickup from your accommodation in Sedona or the Village of Oak Creek. Your day trip to Grand Canyon National Park begins with a scenic drive up Oak Creek Canyon via a National Scenic Byway. The road winds through pine forests en route to Flagstaff, with the option of hotel pickup there.

Entering the park on the western side of the South Rim, you're treated to sweeping views of the Grand Canyon, Bright Angel fault line, and the Colorado River at Yavapai Point. After a lingering glimpse and plenty of photo ops from the park's widest overlook.

Head to Grand Canyon Village, the Historic District at the South Rim, where you have time to purchase lunch and explore the area including the historic El Tovar Hotel, the Pueblo replica of Hopi House, art exhibits at Kolb Studio, and more. Take a walk along the canyon rim and search for giant California condors that call this area home.

Your tour vehicle continues eastward along the South Rim, to take in the vastness of the canyon. Find dramatic views from a variety of perspectives both inside and outside the Desert View Watchtower, designed by architect Mary Colter.

Departing the national park alongside the Little Colorado River Gorge, see more impressive views on a drive through the Navajo Nation en route to the historic Cameron Trading Post, known for its outstanding selection of American Indian arts and crafts. The cliffs of the Painted Desert provide a picturesque backdrop for this scenic stop before drop-off at your hotel in Village of Oak Creek or Sedona.

Bucket list trip

The best thing about this trip, besides being with my wife of 40 years, the views were spectacular. We couldn’t have gone on a better day. Our guide, Smoki was very knowledgeable of the trip it took to get to the Grand Canyon. I learned things I never thought of. From the information about the reservation that we went through to the best places to see and stay in the park.

Very enjoyable experience

We were picked up at our hotel in Sedona. It was nice to be able to enjoy the scenery without having to drive. Our tour guide, Cat, was excellent. She was very experienced, knew when to speak and was a wealth of knowledge. She was a very cautious and conscientious driver, which was comforting. The Grand Canyon did not disappoint. Well worth the money.

This was an AMAZING day and Brad was THE BEST. He was incredibly knowledgeable, quick to react when things got challenging (some folks on the tour got a bit turned around), and fun to interact with. It was great that he took everyone's interest and personalities into consideration making it feel really customized. It was a great day and my husband/myself REALLY enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful day exploring the Grand Canyon

This was a wonderful experience, worth every penny! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We could not have gone on our own and seen all of the different sites in the Grand Canyon National Park that we saw with our guide. The outing (trading post) on the way was great too. The van was very comfortable with plenty of bathroom and "stretching" breaks!

Burt was wonderful - he took us to less crowded viewing spots & gave us a great history lesson about the exploration of the canyon - plus general history of Sedona & Flagstaff. The kids loved his quizzes! It was great having someone take away all the guesswork of where to go & what to do. Highly highly recommend!!

I highly recommend this tour. Our guide Burton was great! He knew a lot of history about both Sedona and the Grand Canyon. He took us to places most people don’t go to cause they don’t know about it. We ate our lunch sitting on the rim of the Canyon amazing experience!!!
