"Lots of Wine (If you pay for it.) & Little Falls"
HongNhung_N
, Aug 2022
The driver Don was great. The wineries were okay. We knew we had to pay for lunch, but most of our group in the tour were confused about paying for the tastings if we didn't purchase wine. THAT detail needs to be clearer and brought to the forefront in the booking, not fine print, if it even was. Don't remember reading it. Also, longer time at falls. Maybe an activity. Everything else was fine.

We do list in the "Things you should know" area of the information that tasting fees and lunch are extra. We also list the estimated amount of time at each location. I am sorry this may have been missed by your group. We will look into possibly making it much clearer for guests. Thank you for your feedback and touring with us!

Wow, where do I start?! Our tour guide Mark was a hoot, and really connected with everyone on the tour! He kept us laughing, and took us to three wineries - including Chateau St. Michelle which is closing. Then we made a final stop to get some chocolate! Highly recommend!

We travelled, drunk wine, had a lot of fun adventures. Our group was mostly with ladies and was amazing! Rick, our guide is the best in the world, so funny and caring that everybody had a good time!

Thank you for the review but we do not have a guide by the name of Rick.

Disappointing
Allison_S
, Jul 2022
The description was misleading. The winery’s have no sweet wine options. NOTHING is included except a bus ride to the falls. However you’re only given 30 minutes at the falls so not enough time to actually explore. “Light snacks provided” is actually just water. “Lunch” is over priced finger food, also not included. The wine tastings are also not included, so be prepared to spend money at every stop. Our tour guide James was great, but the expectation was definitely not met.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2022
I am sorry you were not happy with our tour. The tasting options are dictated by the wineries. It does mention in the information tastings, lunch are not included. We do also mention the length of approximate times you spend at the different locations. If you would like to discuss your tour further please contact us directly. We do appreciate your feedback.

The tour guide was very interesting and entertaining. The winery tasting seemed great , I did not taste because I was leaving for airport after the tour and only drive with a clear head

We had a great time on this tour. Our guide, Mark, was knowledgeable, personable, and entertaining. The wineries we visited were good, especially Goose Ridge and Chateau Ste Michelle, and the trip to Snoqualmie Falls and Boehm’s candy factory were a great finish to the tour. We recommend.

Thank you for taking our tour. We are glad you enjoyed Mark, the winery selection for the day along with the rest of the itinerary.

Chocolate, brisket, wine and a waterfall all on this day adventure from Seattle (food and wine not included in price). For less than an Uber or taxi you get an entertaining guide (Mark was awesome) and the comfort knowing you get to see highlights outside the city safely. Worth every penny. Also, they pick up/drop off at your hotel! No need to meet somewhere else.

Hit-and-miss, but overall worth it

Cory was our guide, and to begin with I just want to remark on how impressed I was with his commitment to our good time. He worked his a$$ off to ensure we all got picked up, even circling back to a hotel a second time trying to find a pair of MIA women. He even called the hotel lobby staff to describe them, doing his absolute best, and when we hit the highway and they finally returned his calls, he didn't tell them "too bad, see if you can get a refund" as I would have done. He walked them through summoning an Uber with instructions on how and when to meet up with us at the first tour stop, so they could at least enjoy most of the day. He did all this without putting the majority of the group behind schedule for even a minute - now that's commitment! The tour included a local winery, a winery/restaurant combo, a chocolate truffle factory, and the Sno Falls themselves, with ample verdant countryside to admire between each stop. I, Right Brain, personally loathe wine and was just there for the views, and I still found the day to be a rewarding use of my time, since it's nice to get out of the city for a breath of fresh mountainous air. Left Brain does not loathe wine, and here are his comments: "First winery was great. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff pouring a good variety of wines and ciders. They offered to ship bottles back to your home if needed, and run a cider club all year to customers anywhere in the country. "Second winery was a bust, wine-wise. Wines were too strongly flavored and not enjoyable. The couple next to me just poured theirs straight into the spitting cup rather than be rude. This was the tour's first time to try this place, so Cory take note!" My own assessment of the second place was that their food was delicious, whatever the state of the wine. On to the falls: very scenic and peaceful, or I think they would be if the walkways weren't jammed with people. Of course there was no way our guide could know that international celebrity and heartbreaker Thomas the Tank Engine would be circling the area's tracks, so I think a lot more families were in the area than usual. The waterfalls were genuinely beautiful when I could get a glimpse, and I think on a calmer day it would be a worthwhile road trip. The Boehme chocolate factory was an adorable delight, but sadly the truffle-rollers don't work on weekends, so we were really watching a guide point to the assembly belt and describe the process rather than witness it for ourselves. Souvenir chocolates were delicious. My advice would be to do this if you are looking to explore the countryside around Seattle and don't have your own car, yes, but to only do this if you can do it on a weekday. The Boehm tour will be far more interesting and the falls presumably far less crowded.

The driver was the best!!! Very informative, friendly, funny⭐️ He was great. The time in some of the wineries were not that much specially in Chateu St Mitchell
icon Response from Host , Jul 2022
Thank you for your review. You should have spent at minimum 60-75 minutes in each wineries that offered your tasting experience. Due to the restrictions at the Chateau that stop when we are not tasting there does go by quick. We are glad you did enjoy your tour overall.

Mark was our tour guide and a wonderful guide. We were all from the MidWest and Mark entertained us with very interesting facts and we taught him about The MidWest. We would recommend this tour. The Falls were beautiful and loved the winery and the Chocolate tour. Great day.

Wine and Falls

We were picked up our hotel exactly at the time indicated which was good. Our driver was very friendly and informative. We visited two wineries, Goose Ridge and Mayfield Winery, and did a tasting at the first which was Goose Ridge. I think I would have preferred to do the first tasting at Mayfield as their wines seemed more interesting (option was available). We did have an amazing lunch at Mayfield though, so be sure to not skip it. After lunch we headed to the falls and finished with a chocolate tasting. It was a nice way to spend the day.

We are glad you enjoyed Gooseridge and MaryHill wineries. Unfortunately we are not able to offer tastings and lunch at MaryHill if we go there first as they do not open service until noon. Thank you for joining our tour.

Snoqualamie wine tasting tour

, Jul 2022
Trip was fun. Tour guide Cory was funny. This is definitely a wine tasting tour not a vineyard tour. Relaxing and fun. 2 wine tasting stops plus the falls and a chocolate shop. Very cute. Only thing I would improve is that the driver was on his phone a lot. Texting while driving. I would have preferred he used headphones and voice to text when answering while driving 20 people down the freeway. Other than than it was well done for what it was.
icon Response from Host , Jul 2022
Yes this is correct it is a wine tasting tour. Unfortunately due to the climate the vineyards are only in Eastern Washington. Our guides should not be texting while driving so we will discuss this with him. We are glad you enjoyed your time on our tour.

Relaxing day outside of the city!

Perfect relaxing day outside of the city. We visited two wineries and really enjoyed both. The wine tastings were fun and the food at the Maryhill Winery was fantastic. The Snoqualmie waterfall was beautiful but this stop did not last very long. The chocolate tour/tasting was good but very brief as well. Great relaxing day to end our trip on!
icon Response from Host , Jul 2022
Thank you for taking our tour. Yes the Falls and Chocolates are the shortest stops on the tour however you still should be able to spend at least 15-30 minutes at each location. We are glad you were able to relax and enjoy your trip.

A lovely ride out in the country
Patty_G
, Jul 2022
This was a wine tasting rather than tour. We did a drive through of Chateau St. Michelle and went to a tasting room across the road for another winery. I would skip the wine part and tour to the falls. Our guide, Don, was friendly and knowledgeable. The drive and scenery were lovely and he gave us a nice commentary. Wish we could have had more time to walk around the falls. Everyone enjoyed the chocolate factory tour and treat!!! We did enjoy our day and the group, but would probably skip the wine part and opt for a local tasting room.
