Horseback Riding in Sayulita Through Jungle Trails to the Beach

This was quite an adventure. In a good way of course. Some of the faithful steeds had quite the personalities. Which made it fun. It was like three trips in one. The city, the jungle, the beach.

This was an amazing ride from the jungle to a secluded beach! The guide was very knowledgeable. We loved it!

The ride through the jungle was spectacular, but emerging on the beach was even more spectacular. It was an awesome adventure!

We loved our horseback riding experience! We took the sunset tour and when we arrived we felt very lucky because my partner and I were the only people on the tour so it was accidentally private! First we got acquainted with our horses, and then Nabor guided us through one of the most beautiful and raw jungles I have ever seen. Then we arrived to the beach and let the horses run. It was really fun and wild and exhilarating. Galloping can be a little scary if it’s your first time so obviously you can just walk your horse and enjoy the ocean view as well. Nabor is a great guide and very patient. What I enjoyed about the ride was the sense of ease like we could take our time and really enjoy the journey. It didn’t feel rushed at all like some other tours I’ve been on. One suggestion I would make is to wear jeans… I made the mistake of wearing shorts because of the heat and I really regret that decision. I ended up with a gladly rash from rubbing on the saddle. There was also a photographer to capture our journey along the way and I have to say Anubis takes some of the best action photos I’ve seen. Every shot was pure gold. For us it was worth every penny to have those photos. There was also a tequila tasting at the end and it was really good and fun! We had such a great time and would do this tour again next time we are in the area. Thank you!

The ride itself was gorgeous through the jungle to a secluded beach. Our guides Ricky and Juan were amazing and made sure we had a great time. They took beautiful pictures of us that are available for purchase and totally worth it. After the ride we had a tequila tasting, definitely the best tequila I’ve ever had and overall such an amazing experience that none of us with forget.

I would consider this an intermediate experience-- make sure you are physically able to manage riding a horse before you sign up. Not great for folks who are older or children. You'll be going up and down inclines and the horses occasionally canter or gallop. And heads up, they upcharge for the photos they take.
