Mike was a wealth of knowledge and took the events of the civil war with Savannah’s role in chronological order which was very helpful. Continued to ask if we had questions from beginning to end. Excellent tour and guide—recommend for anyone who likes this time in America’s history.
A To-Do tour.

Well informed guide who knows and research information about his home area from various and respected authors and view points. Amazing nuggets of history he pulls out as he took you though several areas of town. They have a great relationship with many businesses that improve the experience. Great to do before wandering off on your own tour. The headsets really makes the tour so much easier and allow mobility to see as the group moves
Fun and informative.

Balanced perspective of Civil War. The South usually gets a bad wrap.

Our guide was informative and had a good sense of humor. 135 minute tour with no restroom break. Half mile walk from the end of the Tour back to the starting point at Reynolds Square. Be careful while you walk; sidewalks can be rugged and irregular.

Tour went 15 minutes over due to all the questions and left us farther from our starting point than the guide would have liked. Can't do much about sidewalks and group restroom break would take 20 minutes. Next time tell the guide and he can direct you to a restroom, best thing about earbuds you can hear the guide and he can't hear you in the restroom.
Tour Guide Kelse was very knowledgeable

The highlight of our Savannah visit.

Michael was our tour guide. He is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide who provided an in-depth description of the main historical and political events that preceded the Civil War. His descriptions of the key events and characters related to the Civil War in Savannah helped us immerse ourselves into that time period. Highly recommend this tour.
Great Civil War tour
