History and food fun
, Jun 2021
Food and history are a wonderful way to be introduced to Savannah! Thank you Cindy for making it so enjoyable and taking us to so many places with absolutely wonderful food. We really enjoyed the no waiting in lines and the pace of the tour was enjoyable through City squares with history surrounding us at every turn.
Good mix of food and history

Excellent tour! Great food. Good pace - not too fast / not too slow. Good mix of history and food. Like having the chicken biscuit in the park.

Book this tour, and do yourself a favor... request Ms. Country. Best tour guide I've ever had on any type of tour. Great food. Great entertainment. Great energy.
Interesting and informative.

Our guide, Julia, was excellent! We learned some things. Be prepared for walking in hot and humid conditions.
Best kept secrets of Savannah in half a day.

We never got our tour. I got a text message about an hour before the time of our tour stating there was a medical emergency and they had to cancel our tour. They had no back up.

We are sorry our guide's medical emergency got in the way of your vacation plans. We are honored that you were so excited to take this tour that not taking it left you no choice but to leave this review. While we do have plenty of guides, when the emergency occurs within (as you point out) an hour before the start of tour there is simply nothing we could do other than reschedule where possible and refund/cancel, which we did. Thank you for your helpful feedback.
Great experience, much more than just a food tour.

Cindy was an excellent guide. This was much more than a food tour. The stops at the squares and historical spots along the way were as much a part of the experience as the food. She was bright and lively and kept our group engaged the entire time. We didn’t consider all the food “gourmet”, but enjoyed tasting things we would not have had the opportunity to try otherwise snd loved seeing some hidden gems such as Cha Bella (which was all farm fresh and we highly recommend) and the Capital Bee Company. Definitely recommend!
Great Tour

Great tour. Food was varied and nicely presented. Establishments went out of their way to welcome us, and our guide, Country, was a HOOT. She was very fun, informa tive and brought old Savannah to life. The Savannah Bee Company employees could not have been more helpful when we returned to shop. Loved everything about this tour!

Our guide Anne was full of personality and knowledge. The food stops were ideal and Anne was very able to describe the food and history of the dishes. Highly recommend
