No air conditioning and super late

They picked us up 1:30 minutes later because they were "training a new driver" which we would have let go of, BUT the van was super packed and had no air conditioning reaching the back of the van. It was an awful trip back and to. Honestly, for what they charge, it is not worth it. The experience was nice and fun and our guide was good. But the price was steep and the service left a lot to be desired.

This experience was EVERYTHING!!! Dennis our guide was amazing, made us feel very safe. The cliff jumping, the water slide and monkey swing were absolutely life changing. Loved it! Will do it again.

Muddy Paradise

The rainforest was beautiful! Justice and Brian (our guides) were very nice, knowledgeable, and patient with everyone in our group. The trail was extremely muddy though and just normal sneakers were not cutting it. I would recommend shoes designated for a muddy terrain.

Definitely. Worth. It. Nathan and Dennis were awesome tour guides. The hike was moderately difficult to get to the water slides, and I was a bit scared since I’m not a great swimmer, but I would probably do it again lol. Highly recommend :)

Justice and Rodriguez Where two of the best tour guild and driver… The experience was nothing like I experienced, Justice was full of knowledge and very fun every supported perfect person to have as your tour guild in the Rain Forest, Rodriquez was helpful with the activity and transportation great guy and him and her where a great team, They both every made the experience special !!! Any question or concerns we had they both had the answers ! Also if you lose anything in the forest they have a guy who will literally dive down 20 feet of water to get your shoes. This experience is worth every penny and Justice and Rodriguez both of them deserves to get paid top dollars for professionalism, courtesy, patient and all around Adventure they provided

Kendra was an amazing guide and this was our favorite excursion during our trip to Puerto Rico. Kendra texted us the night before with all the information we would need and was very knowledgeable about the rainforest animals and vegetation. My fiancé is an experienced hiker but I am less so and was worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up. It was great though and while there were some moments where I had to slow down a bit to figure where to place my foot, Kendra was patient and explained everything thoroughly. Those that are not able to/don’t want to do the second portion of the hike (natural water slide, rock jump, and/or rope swing) are able to relax in the beautiful/cool water and watch waterfalls and catch their breath. I ended up doing the water slide and rock jumps and the anticipation is way worse than actually doing it. Make sure to bring sturdy shoes with good traction. I brought an old pair of gym shoes I didn’t mind getting back and recommend that route. It will be a very muddy trip so don’t bring anything you love. You’ll definitely twist an ankle with something like crocs, water shoes, or flip flops. Bring sunscreen, a water bottle, high protein snacks, shirt and shorts over a swimsuit, and a hat. Anything extra you bring will just be left in the locked van at the beginning of the truck. I brought a backpack because it was easier to carry everything but it will get a bit damp so be prepared. We put the cellphone in a waterproof case and it made it out just fine. The hour drive to the rainforest starts after everyone is picked up so it was actually two hours in the van both ways as we were first on/last off. The hardest part about the mandatory parts of the hike (so not including optional waterslide portion) is right before the waterfall/rest area when you are climbing down through a fairly narrow decline. I took my time and it was fine. Kendra went down first to show us how to do it and Rodriguez went down last to help everyone else.

Perfect day in the jungle
Olesya_M
, Nov 2021
My husband and I had a wonderful time! Definitely lives up to its description! Somewhat strenuous, muddy (washes off easily, and you will have an opportunity to hose off), plenty of climbing, jumping, rope swinging and splashing in the water. If you are afraid of getting wet, dirty etc, this will probably not be for you. But if you want an authentic jingle experience, this is it! Our tour guide Justice and our driver were great. Next time we are in PR, we are doing it again!
