Beginners Scuba Diving Tour in San Juan

Leo was really amazing, patient and knew his stuff. We felt safe and had a good time. He took us to some under water adventures.

I had such an amazing experience!!! At first I was very nervous to scuba dive for the first time, but my instructor and guide Steve, made the experience calm and exciting. I saw some wonderful underwater fixtures and beautiful marine life......I will never forget this experience!!! Thanks Steve

SAL! SAL!! SAL!!! He’s such an incredible instructor! Engaging, calming, funny, kind, professional & most of all, PATIENT! Went scuba diving for the first time with my 11 yr old. She excelled better & quicker than I! Sal quickly stepped in & gave me the support & gentle push I needed to see it through. We worked him hard & he never lost his calm demeanor nor his wonderful light personality! If you’re going to do it, do it with THIS company! I met several instructors & ALL were pleasantly engaging! They rock & deserve 10 stars!!

Ricki was a great instructor! Had such a great time even though I was scared!! She took her time and made sure we were comfortable. Best instructor!

Didnt have weights in vest so didnt get the full advantage of scuba diving but was still fun....will come back next time to try and get the full experience

We had an awesome first time scuba diving. The instructors were very informative and made you feel safe the whole time. They took it at your own pace. Would 10x10 recommend. The instructors were a lot of fun!

As I'm a little late given my review, later is better than never and I do want to give my review for the Scuba Diving tour. So, here it go... Yes, all my life I always wanted to go scuba diving and this was the chance that I actually got to dchieve that dream. For my 1st time scuba diving I had an excellent experience and would want to go again. The instructor was very cool, very patient and funny as well. You could tell that he is very experienced in what he does and also committed to showing you step-by-step how to go about scuba diving safely. This became an experience like no other. He starts you off with a heads up of all hand signals and technicalities first. Then once you actually get started in the shallow water, you practice as you slowly get to know the different techniques before you actually go full dive. He told us ahead of time that we will be searching for different things in the water once we get going and it was our hope to eventually find a turtle. After preparing, we went in, now swimming underwater. He pointed out a few things to us like different marine life and also told us things to watch out for, like sea urchins which he pointed out as well. It was cool because I had my underwater camera with me and I recorded a lot of sea life. I saw beautiful fish beneath the sea and we found sunken objects, such as an underwater bench. Our instructor also recorded us off of his own camera as well which he later sent the clips to us via email. It was cool swimming alone with a couple who was with us and the instructor pointing out stuff underwater as he recording us while wearing his Aquaman suit. lol We stayed underwater for about 45 minutes to an hour in near the end we actually found our turtle as I happened to record a perfect shot of it off my camera. This was a great tour that I would do again and again and I would also recommend it to anyone that likes the water and will be ahead out to Puerto Rico sometime soon.

The members of our party that did the scuba enjoyed it, some more than others. The tour group seems to run quite a bit behind schedule, as our tour started 30-45 minutes late with little in the way of explanation. If you are on vacation, consider that most everything seems to run on island time. The walk to where the excursion meets is away from the main parking and beach area. The bathrooms at the tour location were locked and are run by the government so plan to have to walk back a ways to access bathrooms, showers, beverage vending machines, etc. Thankfully not all of our party dived, so we had someone to keep belongings secure. The guide offered access to a lock box, but I don't think that would have been enough to hold shoes/towels, wallets, phones, etc. Consider taking as little as possible to the excursion. The equipment seemed to be in good shape and the video pictures of the underwater tour are one reason to select this tour group. Not the highest end experience we have had, but a good value for the price!

This tour is amazing for beginners. Alberto and Wendy are very welcoming, and helpful. We do not have experience in Scuba Diving. Alberto was very patient when giving instruction, and made us comfortable before diving in to the sea.
