Excellent, personalized experience

This was an exceptional class! With lower tourist numbers, we had the class to ourselves and it was fantastic! Our instructor (also an opera singer!) was very kind and really knew what she was doing. She explained every step so that we'd understand what we were doing and why/how. It was instructive without being overbearing, and resulted in delicious deserts! We would certainly recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn a bit more of the local food history, or just those wanting to see how these delicious deserts are made.

We had an amazing time cooking up nockerl and strudel! The recipe was very easy to follow and a lot of fun sprinkling sugar and flour together. The beautiful kitchen is cut INTO the mountain for a wholesome Salzburg experience. Do this class!

My husband and I love cooking and we signed up for this class hoping for a good recipe and fun along the way. The class did not disappoint. We loved every minute of it and our strudel came out tasting really delicious. We also learned how to make the Nockerl which we didn't realize we'd get to do so it was like a bonus recipe. We are excited to get home and practice so we can give strudels for Christmas gifts to our family.

Johann was an excellent teacher! The class was fun and I loved his kitchen in the mountain! I can’t believe we stretched dough like professional chefs and I can’t wait to get home to make strudel for my family!

What a great class! Well-run, informative, interactive and delicious, all in one! Johan and his assistant were delightful. The class was a fun thing to do, a nice break from looking at churches and museums and walking around Salzburg. The location is good and Johan did a wonderful job showing us how to make strudel and Salzburg knokerel (not sure I spelled that correctly). The others in our class were fun to talk with while the prep and cooking and eating were going on. Would highly recommend.

This was a very nice experience learning how to cook Apple Strudel. It is so much better fresh than from a bakery, because it's crispy right when it comes out of the oven. The setting was really neat, as the store is mostly carved out of the cliff!

If you have extra time I highly recommend you take this little class! Extremely fun, our teacher was very sweet and made us relaxed and welcome. Our strudel was delicious, best I've ever had and the nockel was amazing!! Much better to get here in the class then paying the crazy amount they charge at the restaurants. Also they have drinks to purchase which is nice. This class is also in a cool setting in a building set in the rocks!! Fabulous time
