Great experience

The tour is amazing- it was so good it doesn’t feel as long as it was! Our guide Kiara was lovely and very friendly, she had great stories to tell us and loads of great information about Iceland. Drove through nice towns and had a couple of stops for a break& lunch! Eating on the bus was allowed - and could have a hot drink if it has a lid. Passed by things that weren’t even included in the tour (for example Eyjafjallajökull) Highly recommend doing this tour! Overall a great experience!

Amazing day out

The tour was well organised, we had an amazing time and recommend Bustravel. We went on the volcano tour with them too which was also excellent. Tour guide - Omar was a great guide. We learnt a lot about each location and his point of view as an Icelander. He was funny and friendly, we enjoyed his company. Vehicle - It was clean and comfortable. The driver drove well and we felt safe. Itinerary - We were at each location for a good amount of time. Also an opportunity to get food for lunch either from a shop or a restaurant so there’s no need to bring food with you. Your clothes will get wet if it’s raining/ snowing or if you walk behind the waterfall. It would be useful to wear something 100% waterproof or bring a disposable rain coat with you!

Disorganised to start

The actual tour itself was brilliant and definitely worth doing. However, the pick up in the morning was very disorganised. Our name was called to get on a bus, then a few minutes later told to get off the bus and join a different bus. We then drove to a central station and was then told to get off that bus and get back on the bus we was first on. I asked why this happened and the man who spoke to me was rather rude. I’m glad he wasn’t our tour guide. Anna (my tour guide) was very informative and even sang us a little song at the end of the trip!

Stunning experience

We booked onto this trip last minute after having our lava tour and northern lights tour cancelled. Was a bit apprehensive about the price but it was absolutely worth it! Easy pick up - they took us to a meeting point where we then changed buses for this tour, and our tour guide HBO was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. We saw so many beautiful sights and was blessed by clear (but cold) weather - even got a bit of snow! HBO then took us to a restaurant where we ate fresh fish for a decent price and did a lot of walking around the area.

We were very happy we chose this tour. Henry was very knowledgeable. So much to see in Iceland. Tip: No restroom on bus, but there were stops during the trip including a lunch stop. Pack tissue and extra masks.
