9:00 AM
This activity will end right where it started.
Meet at the BSI Bus Terminal, where you’ll board a climate-controlled vehicle destined for your first stop—the UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park.

Explore the site in your vehicle, stopping to capture photographs of the park’s striking landscapes and listening to history-rich commentary that dates back to 93 AD. Then, proceed to a geothermal area named Geysir Geyser to watch powerful streams of water emerge from the earth’s molten core.

From here, you’ll travel to the Langjökull glacier to embark on a snowmobile adventure. Before boarding your vehicle, receive a detailed safety briefing from your instructor and don the necessary protective equipment. Two to a snowmobile, you’ll ascend to the glacier’s summit and enjoy panoramic views of Iceland’s striking scenery.

Exhilarated, return to your vehicle and make your final stop at Gullfloss Waterfall, a staggering waterfall originating from a glacial lake. Capture sufficient photographs of the natural wonder and then relax during the journey back to your original departure point in Reykjavik.

The best part of this tour was definitely the snow mobiles. Being on the glacier and taking in the views was phenomenal. And getting to drive a snowmobile for about an hour was a great experience. The team were brilliant getting us there and looking after us during the experience. Definitely recommended.

The only reason why this tour is not getting five stars is because of the golden circle portion of the tour. It was such a let down and I wish we had another option to pair with the snowmobiling because that was awesome. As I previously mentioned, the golden circle portion was a let down and I might say a waste of time. There really was nothing to see, except the wall where they did film some scenes on GoT and where the old parliament used to hold their meetings. There is a nice waterfall on top near where they pick you up for the snowmobiling tour however, it was extremely windy and cold when we were up there. Again, wasn't that great of a sight and it was way too windy. On to the snowmobiling portion... it was fantastic and fun! They do provide a snow suit so you can withstand the cold/wind, but of course you should still wear your jacket underneath as it will fit. If you've got some nice snowboarding/skiing gloves, I would suggest bringing them even though they do provide them, they weren't as warm as you'd like. I would recommend this excursion as the snowmobiling portion was very fun and an experience to be had.

We had an absolutely amazing day, full of impressive scenery, incredible nature, and our guide Taki’s fascinating narration - he shared so much interesting history and many stories. The snowmobiling was also glorious! Overall, thanks for a great day!

A most excellent adventure from start to finish. Thanks to Erik for an amazing commentary and for all the Icelandic history/geology information. Also well done to Magnus and the fab guy who drove the Monster Truck-an adventure in itself. Shame about the rain but great sights seen and fun had by all. Highly recommend this trip!!
