The Bike Tour was great!...

The Bike Tour was great! The water falls was awesome. Benoit was a good ride leader, but sometimes he paces too fast, such that the other riders have a hard time catching up . Especially since we had a grandfather with the group. And Echo Sports should have briefed the rider using the e-bike properly, before releasing the bike to the rider. The e-bike rider was having a hard time with his e-bike because he wasn't properly briefed on how to use the e-bike. But overall, everyone had fun!
Excellent day !

Fun ride to the falls

It’s actually a short drive from Quebec to the falls, but we opted for the eBike ride. Great way to spend the afternoon although the ride is not especially scenic. Parked our bikes and took the cable car to the top of the falls. Crossed over the bridge at the top of the falls and then walked down a pathway on the other side. Great views of the falls! Unfortunately, my bike’s battery died on the way back, but I switched bikes with our guide. Our guide Evelyn was informative and kept us on the right path.

This was a great half day tour for our family of four. Paul was an excellent guide who provided us with some great history and background about Quebec City and the port. We were the only people that booked for this afternoon so we had great attention from our guide. The bike path was well maintained and paved and the ride to the Falls was easy for us. This was a great break from all the walking we did through Old Quebec for the last two days. Due to covid, the line up for the gondola was very long so we did not go to the top and instead, just enjoyed the view from the bottom on the lovely wooden platform. It would have been nice to up go and along the suspension bridge, but we didn't think the wait to go up and come back down again was worthwhile. Paul took us to a few different neighbourhoods on the way back as we had some extra time and we enjoy bike riding as a family. We are very happy that we booked this bike tour.

Very enjoyable ride to the Falls. Our guide Pierre made sure we were keeping up and made several stops on the way to tell us facts about the sites. He showed us everything at the Falls and we took our time to enjoy it. Highly recommend.
Great experience!

Cycling in Quebec City to Montmorency Falls

We liked this tour and would recommend it . Depending on when you are going, dress accordingly. It's not the most scenic views but your destination is to the Montmorency Falls and very easy/smooth bike paths. It's 26 km return, with stops and rests. If you are an experienced cyclist, no problem, you won't even sweat, but if you are not, there are some small hills with several inclines, which can be challenging. So rent the e-bike (petal assist, which you will feel like a pro and it's a lot of fun!). Make sure you confirm your e-bike before taking the tour as there is a limited supply. Our tour guide Paul was great, knowledgeable and very experienced. Hope you get Paul! If you like to cycle, this is a more active way from Old Quebec City to see the falls.

My family and I had a very enjoyable trip to and from the Falls. Virtually the entire trip was on dedicated bike paths with no hills to speak of. The Falls are impressive. Our guide, Pierre, was very knowledgeable and provided us with great information about both the specifics of what we were seeing and Quebec in general.

Paul was a lovely tour guide who helped us all have a great time. Our party consisted of a 13 year old, 46 year old, 41 year old, and 75 year old. Paul was able to accommodate all of us during the bike tour. He even biked with my daughter when she needed additional support. The path is quiet and flat. It is a lovely place to bike ride. The falls were just spectacular!!! A must see!!!!
A MUST DO!

Quebec is a great city. A lot to do, a lot to see and many great restaurants When you’re tired of all that you must go on the bike tour to Montmorency Falls. Tour co. Echo Sports has 1st class bikes and our guide Paul was one of the best guides we have ever had in any tour worldwide. HighlyRecommend this tour. Excercise, touring and excitement all in one!!!!

Fantastic ride thru Quebec up to the falls and wow what a view. Only thing I would recommend is that you are actually fit enough for the guide we had and the huge amount of steps at the falls. Luckily my husband and I both ride and do gym work but the other older couple had a bit of trouble keeping up as the guide I think was really riding too fast for a tour and was in quite a hurry to get back to catch his ferry. Maybe the company need to allow extra time for this type of tour for other people to enjoy it as much as we did. By all means if you are fit then this tour is for you. The bikes and equipment are very well looked after.

First and foremost, Denis was an excellent guide - very friendly and knowledgeable. The bikes and equipment were well maintained, plenty of water and/or bio-breaks as needed. The biking itself was well paced even for the beginner and the hike down from the falls was loads of fun. The ride was safe, well-maintained trails and a lot of fun!

This proved to be a great experience from start to finish. The reception in the bike shop was warm and friendly and, as we were the only two riders that day, my wife was offered a free upgrade to an electric bike. Our guide, Benoit, was friendly and knowledgeable and we spent a very enjoyable afternoon in his company. The cycling was easy even more so for my wife! and a great way to feel like a local. The falls were spectacular. We went up in the cable car and down the steps, and even had time for a short walk along the river. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

Had a great day on this tour although it rained heavily on the way back all the group were great sports and just got on with it!
The cycling was mainly on flat easy cycle routes and the scenery at Montmorency Falls is spectacular. The staff at the bike shop were very friendly and Dominique our guide was very knowledgeable about Quebec. We had plenty of free time at the falls to wander round and the falls colours were spectacular even in the rain. Its about 12km each way to the falls but no hills to navigate so most people of average fitness would be able to do this trip.
We had a great time on our bike trip...

We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.
