Meet your guide at a central location and discover the luminous charm of Puerto Vallarta after dark. Start your 3.5-hour evening food tour with an authentic taste of tacos de cabeza, a sumptuous dish made from an assortment of beef cuts simmered in a spicy chile-infused broth.

Sample a seafood chile relleno taco and a shrimp brochette before biting into tacos al pastor, featuring thin shavings of spit-roasted pork, marinated with chiles and served on fresh tortillas. Sink your teeth into the best churros in Puerto Vallarta; these crispy fritters are served hot and dusted with cinnamon and sugar.

Finish with a quesadilla prepared with local fresh cheese and sautéed mushrooms. Just be sure to save room for dessert — a Michoacán-style fruit paleta (popsicle).

From really good to great

We ended up being the only 2 on the tour but it was still a really great experience. Our tour guide was really personable, down to earth and accommodating. He made sure to check on us to gauge how full we were. We didn't expect so much food BUT we ate til the end. Every place we visited was better than the last and all were really good. Don't eat before you go! No complaints, I'd definitely do it again😆

A must try for all vegeterians/meat lovers on your first day in PV. The organizers went beyond our expectations to accommodate us in the tour. Kaitlyn, our tour guide, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. She made the tour interesting and was helpful in translating our likes to local taco places. The actual food was super - we plan to go back to at least 3 of the places during our stay here. Highly recommended!!

Our guide was fantastic, full of knowledge on all the salsas that were available at each stop. He even had stories about Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. Each taco stop was distinctly different. Very good tour.

I can't say enough about this tour. Raquel was so awesome and enjoyable to hang out with for the tour. We learned so much about Puerto Vallarta culture! The food and tacos were amazing and we got so much more than you'd ever need to eat! I definitely recommend trying everything and just going for it! Come hungry! You won't be disappointed! And also go early in your trip. We definitely returned to a few places that we went on the tour. Very special!

Good tacos and chocolate

As it turned out, my wife and I were the only two people who signed up for the tour that night. Our guide, Abel I believe, was at the appointed place right on time. He was quite pleasant and informative. He took us to a number of street vendors selling different styles of tacos, and one vendor who was selling the best churos we've ever had. Although we've visited many parts of Mexico many times in the past, we got to try something new for us, tacos al pastor, for the first time too. They are our new favorite. We ended at the Chocolate Museum where they explained how cacao beans are processed and served us some delightful rich chocolate deserts. The tacos, churos and deserts were all included in the price. We highly recommend this tour.

This was fun, we met in the old town of PV and walked around to different taco stands or taco restaurants - each location had a different type of taco. The tour guide Daniela was fantastic. She has a passion for food and it very knowledgeable. I would definitely take another tour with this company.

Star was an amazing, knowledgeable...

Star was an amazing, knowledgeable and very accomodating tour guide. We tasted 14 different food and beverages during the tour and she was constantly asking us if we wanted more to eat. The stops we made had all been in business for 20-40 years. Really enjoyed the food and the sanitation was good. I would take any tour offered through Vallarta Eats. We received photos and a list of stops so we could return on other days. Very thorough. Easy location to meet and start the tour. Loved hearing the history of the area.
