Skip the Line: Prague Castle Ticket and Introductory Overview

The four stars are for the castle itself, which is spectacular and definitely worth visiting. However, it was not necessary to purchase advance tickets in this way at the time of year we visited (February). Having bought the ticket through Viator, we were restricted to the time they allocated to us, when we could have just bought a ticket to the castle on the door with minimal queueing. As it was, we arrived early (as per the advice given on the ticket) and had to wait in the cold until we could collect our ticket. It actually got busier in the time we were waiting for the representative to be there with our ticket, which was frustrating as we were ready and waiting to go in and were unable to. Possibly buying a ticket in this way is advisable at other times of the year, but in February it is unnecessary and frustrating.

this process does save time.when there are long lines for tickets. and you are assisted to enter st. Vitus by your ticket holder. But please don't call him a guide but a facilitator since this terminology is misleading.

Bought thèse tickets to cut the at the ticket booth except that there was no queue. Tickets cost us well almost twice the normal price and the few explanations we received were not really helpful.

Its fake.We bought our tickets online and the day we visited the Prague castle the guide was no where to be found.We wasted more than an hour.When we went to the ticket counter and asked,the person told that these tickets are from a private seller and not valid.We had to buy new tickets again. We we reported we only got a refund of half the amount. Please don’t get them and waste your time instead just go there and get the tickets directly from the ticket counter.

There was no skip the line option as advertised - suggest this offering gets a new description. The directions for the meeting point was not clear and precise.

We didn't use this ticket. If you do the bus tour you see the whole area, changing of the guard, etc. We didn't go back for the independent castle segment. And you have to be there at a certain time - only 15 minutes leeway - to exchange the voucher for a ticket. Seemed unnecessary to us.

We have traveled all over Europe, and in our opinion, this was a waste of time and money. You may enjoy it.

Tour was great for a brief intro to what you will see on your own. On our day, it was quite rainy, and we were standing for while trying to hear her. She did a great job and despite the rain, had a great time!

The staff was very helpful on coordinating the arrangements and meet time. The castle is awesome and well worth spending a few hours wandering the grounds and the areas that you can go inside.

Prague castle is a must see attraction. You have to meet a representative there to claim your voucher/ticket and it seemed like you could of easily missed the person as its a busy court yard. It would be better to have a print out voucher that you hand in at the main entrance.
