Meet your guide in central Paris. Learn how the city earned its title as the fashion capital of the world while you admire the glamorous window displays in the fashion district. Along the way, try a traditional Parisian treat—a sweet macaron.

Continue to the Louvre, home to masterpieces like the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. Hear about the museum highlights from your guide as you wander through the gardens, pose for photos by the iconic glass pyramid, and enjoy a glimpse of the sculpture gallery from a secret arcade. Make a note to come back and continue exploring another day—the museum's so big, you need half a day just to take in the highlights.

Next, mingle with the locals at a Parisian market, stopping to indulge in another French passion—cheese. Sample a delicious array of regional cheeses, including smooth, mild Brie, or pungent Roquefort, the ‘King of Cheeses.’

Continue through the streets, passing through hidden arcades and historic avenues, as your guide points out boutiques and popular patisseries along the way. Arrive at the famous Centre Pompidou and part with your guide for some independent sightseeing. Grab a light lunch at a nearby café (be sure to save space for more food tasting in the afternoon though), head to the top floor of the Centre Pompidou for panoramic views of Paris, or stroll down to the Seine riverside.

Then, meet up with your group and guide outside the Notre-Dame Cathedral. Explore the medieval neighborhood of Le Marais, where highlights include preserved Gothic churches and streets, the remains of Paris’ 12th-century defense walls, or tucked away mansions. Le Marais is full of sweet shops, pâtisseries, boutiques, and cafés, so be sure to ask your guide for recommendations so you can come back in your own time. Stop in three different pastry stores to taste classic French sweets.

Finally, stop at a wine store for a personalized tasting. Sip a range of French wines and try some delicious liqueurs, including Armagnac or 'Old Plum,' accompanied by a variety of French cheese or charcuterie, like ham or rillettes.

After an action-packed day, bid your guide farewell and end your tour at Bastille in the heart of Paris.

What a truly amazing and unforgettable experience. Adele, our tour guide, did a fantastic job of making sure we were not only informed about Paris history but she also really cared that we walked away with a sense of what French culture is all about. The macrons were spectacular, the cheese was incredible, and the wine will have you asking for seconds and thirds. Above all else Ill never forget the people we met during this tour and the connection to France we got to enjoy and experience. Much love and appreciation!

Took this day tour with my wife and our two mothers after Christmas. It was fantastic and we really enjoyed the sights. Our guide, Adele, was very engaging and knowledgeable about the history of the city. History of the guillotine was both fascinating and gruesome. There were numerous stops to enjoy pastries and cheeses and the portions were generous. Especially loved the stop at Aux Merveilleux for the whipped cream pastry.....ooh la la :- The last stop at Chaise et Le Vin was lovely with wine and more cheese and a brief lesson on French wine regions and terroir by the owner the group had plenty of time to relax and reflect on the days journey and share ideas about seeing more of Paris and where everyone was from. Would highly recommend this tour to others. It does involve quite a bit of walking so just be prepared. According to my mother-in-laws Fitbit we logged over 16,000 steps! We developed some nice camaraderie with Adele and others on the tour. This is the only tour Ive been on that everyone hugged each other at the end when it was time to say farewell. Thanks Adele for introducing us to your beautiful city. We cant wait to come again!

Our guide, Adele, was WONDERFUL. She took us to parts of Paris that not many tourists know about. Her historical knowledge of the areas were impressive, and we sampled some wonderful cheeses and macarons including Hermes ending the day with charcuterie, cheese and wine tasting. The gentleman that owned the last wine shop was extremely friendly and engaging. Loved this tour run by Urban Adventures. They also have half-day tours if that works better for you. The afternoon was our favorite because it ended with a leisurely, seated wine tasting.

Great tour! Arturo was the best tour guide one could hope for! He gave lots of details, answered questions enthusiastically, connected with the group, and really felt like a friend sharing his city rather than a tour guide. Excellent!!!

Loved this tour. A great way to immerse yourself in the culture, experience what the locals do. Indulge your senses with the sights, sounds, aromas and tastes of Paris! Experience The best of the best chocolates, cheese, pastries and wine Paris has to offer. My tour guide, Adele was a wealth of information on the history, landmarks, current trends and events happening around Paris. Window shopped high end designer boutiques, saw several Churches, gardens and parks, strolled through quaint back streets and viewed the oldest and newest architecture in the city.

We bought this tour literally at the very last minute because it was recommended to us the day before. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable of all the spots we visited. All the walking along these alleys, plazas, streets, etc along Paris was really worth it. At the end, finishing with the wine tasting was superb! Our only comment is that I would cut down the pastry and chocolate tasting to do instead something more like a coffee tasting where the group can sit for a bit. Too much sugar along the way. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it. PS. Cheese tasting was sooooo good..
