Hermanus was a terrific tour guide, with knowledge that helped us bring to life the Normandy area, Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc landing sites, and the American cemetery. I highly recommend this tour with Hermanus.

Great tour with lots of good historical sites visited. Our guide was fairly new at his job but did a pretty good job at relaying the history of D-Day. He will definitely get better as time goes on.

Adrian was an amazing guide and provided so much information about Normandy and French culture. He let us explore each location on our own after providing information about each stop. Was a highlight of our Paris trip!

A moving tour of the beaches of Normandie where our troops braved and fought. Step inside German bunkers, see the coast and Pont du Hoc. Sylvan was an excellent guide providing important details bringing the history of the landscape alive.

Tours are only as good as the person leading them. We were very fortunate to have had Sarah as our guide for the day. She did a wonderful job telling the story, which really helped us get a feel for the magnitude of the events that unfolded at Normandie. I have to say we enjoyed every bit of the tour, but there is no doubt the enormity of seeing the cemetery was a very moving experience. For anyone visiting Paris, this small-group day trip is a “must do”.

This was by far the best tour of our two weeks in Europe. Our guide Gabby was excellent and very capable. Very emotional experience for me since my Dad landed on Omaha beach in 1944 with the US Army.

Our tour guide Laura was awesome!! We had the worst weather possible but Laura was a pro! The highlight of our Paris trip! You know it’s good when your 14 year old says when we got back to the hotel “I loved our tour guide”! Thank you Laura!

A first class experience! Touring with a small group in a comfortable air conditioned van was ideal. Our guide, Johnny, was fantastic and entertaining. We loved each site we visited and standing in the water at Omaha Beach looking up at the cliffs our soldiers had to climb while fighting the Germans, as well as walking through the American Cemetery, was nothing short of humbling.

Incredible, moving experience. Guide Nisa was wonderful. Very engaged, enthusiastic, very entertaining, and a wellspring of information. Variety and pace of tour was just right. Never felt rushed. Nice break at lunch a a good restaurant. Highly recommend this tour. Long drive from Paris but definitely worth it.
