Tour was cancelled due to the Paris transit strike. The tour operator did not want to spend the extra money on a taxi so they cancelled the tour. Just FYI.... taxis did not charge extra during the strike. Only Uber’s

Tour guide never showed up and never contacted us to apologize or offer a reason. We suspect that because it was only my husband and myself they didn't think it was worthwhile for them. Very disappointing as it was our last day in Paris, we had made the 30 minute trip to the meeting site and it was an afternoon tour so we had no chance of getting on another tour.

It was fine. The guide was a delightful young woman, who was knowledgeable and friendly. They could work better at communication, however. We were told to be at the meeting site 15 minutes before the beginning of the tour, and we were. There was no one else there connected to the tour. Finally, we learned that that was because we were the only two people on the tour, and the guide was late. No one told us despite having my phone number and my email. A telephone inquiry was not answered. It was also expensive

My wife and I did this tour on New Year's Day. Charlotte was our tour guide. She was very nice and knowledgeable of the area. It was just my wife and I that day so it was like walking around town with a local friend! The wine stops were nice. Charlotte explained the wines and cheeses as we sat and talked. Unfortunately, we did not get to tour the Basilica because they weren't letting people in when we got to it. We weren't sure why. Otherwise this was a nice way to get to see and learn about the Montmartre area through the experience of a local.
