The area under the tower is very busy therefore you must meet your guide a few blocks away. Meet your guide and group a few streets away from the Eiffel Tower in the early evening. From there, your guide will offer some insight into the history before you start your ascent. A pre-booked, skip-the-line ticket offers you priority access to the Eiffel Tower elevator so you can have more time admiring the views from the top. After the introduction, head to the elevators to begin your sunset tour of the Eiffel Tower. Eiffel Tower 1st Level On the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, discover more about the man who built the iconic tower, Gustave Eiffel, and hear stories that bring the 120-year-old tower to life. See part of the original spiral staircase, which once led from the second floor to the top level and was used by Gustave to get to his office. This level will give you an overview of the feat of engineering and design creation that went into this structure -- once the tallest in the world. Eiffel Tower 2nd Level Your guide will then take you up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, where you will be given plenty of opportunities to take in stunning views of Paris as the sun begins to set. There are two tiers on the second level, which will give your small group space to explore. Hear your guide recount stories of the stunts and exploits that have happened around the Eiffel Tower (like planes flying underneath the tower).     The person locked his place and asked us to be at the location 15mins before the sunset skip the line Eiffel Tower which was at 8pm to collect the tickets and I ordered for sunset and he offers me next day 9:30am as he carelessly made me fool on the important day of my life.     Our tour guide was really knowledgeable; he was also careful to make sure that all in the group were able to keep up on the walk to the tower (we had some who weren't able to walk as quickly as the rest of the group, and he stopped frequently to let them catch up). He gave us lots of information in an engaging and entertaining way, and even stood out in the open when it started to hail while we were up there while the rest of us took cover! Highly recommended

    Had a 3rd level tour booked with a different company thru Viator that changed the tour time on us last minute. Found this one instead without realizing until we arrived it was 2nd level only. Despite my over sight, it was a good tour. Mike from Canada was our guide. He was very informative and did an excellent job. If your interested in only the second level, this is a very good tour.

    We loved this tour and the tour guide Eugenia? was wonderful. She knew what she was talking about and answered all our questions. She engaged us by asking us questions along the tour to see how much we knew about the tower. This made us all think and realize we didn't really know as much as we thought. Very entertaining guide. So glad that we took the sunset tour as the night was beautiful and we saw the city with all the lights which always makes it look more beautiful. And to our surprise we saw a light show at 9:00 which added to the beautiful trip. I do wish we had been able to go to the top of the tower which I thought the tour did. A little deceiving when I booked it but that was my fault for not reading the entire description. One of the highlights of our trip to Paris. I highly recommend it. Skipping the lines was an added bonus.

    I did this with my daughter and will definitely do this one again with my husband on our next trip. We were able to get to the top w/out any hassle and were offered a glass of champagne then left on our own to explore. We took the most amazing pictures before heading down which we did at the right time. There's nothing like walking down the stairs in the Eiffel Tower when the lights are going off. It is the most incredible memories I have of Paris!!

    Our tour guide, Elizabeth, was great! Unfortunately, it took us way too long to get through the line. It was at least an hour for us to get to up to the second floor. Our guide said it was not normal and usually you get up right away. We were disappointed we paid so much for skipping the line and didn't get to skip any lines.

    It was rainy when we were there but it was still a good experience. Not sure if you really needed to go all the way to the top to really appreciate the view. Might have been more memorable if the sun were out. But if you really want that sunset view of the Eiffel Tower, you need to be in Montparnasse.

    Getting up to the 1st and 2nd levels of the Eiffel Tower was seamless and my American tour guide was very knowledgeable about Paris culture and history. I paid the additional fee to get to the summit and the views were even more breathtaking! It was awesome to see the City of Lights from high above and the Eiffel Tower illuminated in thousands of twinkling lights. I was wowed! There simply are no better panoramic views of Paris than from the summit of the Eiffel Tower.
