Your tour departs at 1:30pm. Meet at the spot in Paris specified at least 15 minutes before the start time. Please take note that if you’re late, there will not be accommodations made, and you won’t be refunded, so please make sure you're on time.

Sit back and relax on your luxury bus ride. It takes a little over an hour to get from Paris to Giverny, but once you arrive, stop at Claude Monet’s pink stucco house. Explore the area, and go into rooms where Monet himself sat and lived. Many renovations have been made to the house over the years, but you’ll still see items owned and used by the Impressionist painter himself.

Afterward, it’s on to the garden. Walk around the planted grounds, and take in sights that might look familiar already. Many of Monet’s painting were inspired by his outdoor garden area. See the well-known green archways climbing with plants and shrubs. Plus, catch a glimpse of the bridge Monet painted in his famous Waterlilies and Japanese Bridge.

Follow your group as they board your luxury bus for the ride back to Paris.
Stop At:
Fondation Claude Monet
This half-day trip will lead you to the edge of Normandy, where you will visit the idyllic home of Claude Monet. There, get a Skip-the-Line Access as you enter into the garden with your guide by the special small group entrance! You will have the opportunity to discover the precious collection of Japanese engravings is displayed in several rooms, hung in the marmer chosen by the master of Giverny himself. Claude Monet’s property at Giverny, left by his son to the Académie des Beaux-arts in 1966, has, after completion of large scale restoration work, become the Claude Monet Foundation, inaugurated in 1980. The huge Nymphéas studio, a stone’s throw from the house, has also been restored and contains the Foundation’s Shop.

Stop At:
The Clos Normand - Fondation Claude Monet
You will also enjoy time in the gardens which have been replanted as they once were and offer visitors the “painting from nature” which Claude Monet’s contemporaries considered to be one of his masterpieces. The rectangular Clos Normand, with archways of climbing plants entwined around brilliantly coloured shrubs, lies before the house and studios, offering from Spring to Autumn the palette of varying colours to the painter-gardner who was “ecstatic about flowers”.

Lastly, the Water Garden, formed by a tributary of the Epte, lies further away, shaded by weeping willows. With its famous Japanese Bridge, its wistarias, azaleas and its pond, it has once more become that casket of sky and water which inspired the pictorial universe of the water lilies.

A beautiful place...and an easy half day trip from Paris!
, Oct 2021
Isabelle was on time, efficient, and informative...THANK YOU! Our trip to Giverney and Monet's Garden was truly lovely--although the time of year (late October) wasn't so great for the gardens, there still were plenty of blooms to enjoy. And we had no rain (cloudy) at the time of our visit. I can only imagine what this place would look like in late spring, early summer, or early fall. Well, hopefully I can return during one of those seasons.

A great experience for lovers of Monet's work.

Even in early October there were still many flowers in bloom. Seeing the water lily pond and Japanese bridges made Monet's paintings paintings come alive. For fans, like me, of Japanese prints, the house is a treasure trove! We had three hours in Givency, and that was enough time to explore the hpuse, the gardens, and walk to the church. Due to Covid it was not at all crowded.

Got to tour start point at the last minute due to traffic, but were greeted with open arms and smiles. Our guide Frederick was a fountain of historical knowledge which enhanced the experience. Time at Giverny was about right. Learned a lot and will recommend this to my friends
Giverny Heaven

This was an exceptional tour. Our guide, Ricardo, drove us out of Paris through lovely countryside to Giverny. We beat the tourist crowd and almost had this stunning place to ourselves. You could wander the gardens forever. We even walked to the little church where Monet is buried. Our trip back through countryside with chalk cliffs and little towns and churches. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and so interesting. He went out of his way to make sure the seven of us got back to where we needed to go.

place was awesome but the problem that it was overbooked and crowed to the pint that it was very difficult to enjoy..
Busy day
, May 2019
The only problem with the day was that it fell at the beginning of a long weekend, and the site was packed. Our guide said she’d never seen it that full. She was knowledgeable and helpful. The day was designed for us to be free to walk around the gardens on our own, without having to follow a guide. This format suits me. I had plenty of time to wander around and even take the same path more than once. I would have liked to have had fewer people there, but so it goes. I had a wonderful time, anyway. The gardens are magnificent, by the way, and a fabulous experience for a fan of Impressionist art, or for just a fan of gardens.
Less than average service for the price

Booked a half-day tour, which was supposed to be 5 hours. This does not include waiting for driver, getting there and back - so total time at gardens is 1.5 hours. Felt rushed and had to run around in order to see everything there. Very crowded even in beginning of May, so be prepared for that. People are ushered into Monet's house like cattle and you can barely see anything. The cherry on top was the tourist office on Rue de Bourdonnaise, which was the meeting point before the trip - they wouldn't let us use their bathroom facilities even though they had one. After spending so much money on these tickets, this was very bizarre! Tour was scheduled for 1:40 pm, we were the only 2 people on the minibus, not sure why they don't have earlier hours for tours. Honestly I wish we skipped this tour.

This tour was fabulous! Loved seeing Monet's home and gardens. We had plenty of time to wander around. En route, our guide gave us a history of Monet that was very interesting. Afterward, our guide dropped us off near our hotel instead of at the agency, saving us time. I highly recommend this tour.
Took this tour on Sept. 12th, 2018...

Took this tour on Sept. 12th, 2018. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the impressionists and also does tours at the Louvre. She was very engaging and looked after us well, making sure we got inside the house while the line was small. Her most impressive feat was navigating the traffic circle around the L'arc du Triomphe, down the Champs Elysee and through the Place de Concorde without breaking a sweat. We gave her a hearty round of applause. Shamefully I didn't write down her name!
