The meeting point is NOT at the Eiffel Tower. It is located on the steps leading from Pont d'Iena to the river. The steps are by the carrousel on the end of the Pont d'Iena just in front of the Eiffel Tower (on the right when you are facing the tower from the bridge).

However, due to the popularity of the Eiffel Tower, we sometimes experience delays from security, or ticket desk lines while purchasing your entrance tickets. In these instances, the tour duration may exceed the allocated 2 hours. We recommend allowing extra time before your next activity to ensure you make the most of your Eiffel Tower experience.

Absolute rip off. Paid way over the odds. Eiffel tower summit is 20 euro. Guide was poor with knowledge that could be gained from Google.. by the time the our tour party reached the second stage, there was a massive queue for the summit which could have been easily avoided.

While the Eiffel Tower climb is something I would recommend to everyone....you only need to do it once in your life, and there are free apps to give you the history and background. The tour did not gain in the queue as we were in the same line as everyone else and the only difference is once we made it to the ticket window, our tour guide paid a lump sum for the whole group. The tour guide was very nice, but I didn't need to wait on everyone to get to each meeting spot to hear the next tidbit of history. My husband and I liked the experience, but felt like we could have done it more efficiently and it would have freed up more of our day to see other things.

This tour was misrepresented by Viator. They said we would get our entry tickets at the meeting point but actually we had to go stand in the line to buy tix as a group. We could have done this without a guide and 150% mark up by Viator. Would NOT recommend this

We were late arriving at the location to meet the guide because we were unable to find it, we contacted the company and they said that the toured already left and there was nothing they could do to help us, can’t believe they wouldn’t even provide us with the location to pick up our tickets instead they kept the money for our tickets which makes them thieves, we can’t be the first ones who have not made it on time, considering the fact that they didn’t have to pay for our tickets the least the could do was refund the ticket cost to us and they still refused to do that, they are scammers don’t use this company

There was no “skip the line” paid extra for nothing. Awaiting refund as overpaid by 100€. Waited in-line for 1:15 minutes as no tickets were secured. Waste of money.

Tour guide Michelle was great! Knowledgeable, funny, engaging and great with kids. She was 5/5. I'm rating this a 3 however because of two reasons. Firstly, we bought upgrades to go to the summit but we were not able to the day of because it was too crowded. I'd advise anyone to go early in the day if they don't want this to happen. We went at 3:30. Secondly, we had to wait in the line for our guide to get us tickets. Perhaps I misread the description but I assumed we were bypassing the line with our pre-purchased tickets. For how much we paid through this v our face value ticket, I would advise anyone to save their money and just buy them at the gate on their own unless you're really wanting background on the Eiffel Tower and city landmarks.

SCAMMED! This was a terrible experience! Just a scam to take our money. We purchased the tour to the summit. With tight schedule we purchased the skip the line and guided tour, wanting to have a peace of mind that we will go in the Eiffel tower just on the time we schedule with the reserved tickets. In the end, we just waited in the same line with everyone that didn't purchased the "skip the line" tickets and the guide bought us tickets like everyone! The summit was closed so we didn't go to the summit, as promised. They charged adult ticket to kids above 4 although in the Eiffel tower it's up to 12!

This tour is useless, at best. Viator should explicitly state the conditions: - the tour participants must wait in line with all other Eiffel visitors to purchase the tickets - the guide is climbing to the first floor only, leaving it up to us to climb another floor - the Eiffel lift ascension to the top was cancelled for new visitors DURING our TRIP, due to crowding, which always happens during top season - although promised, there was no reimbursement for the cancelled lift climb to the top - overall, no benefit, we could have climbed ourselves for less than €11 a ticket

Our tour guide, Natalie, was great. She did a good job of explaining things about the Eiffel Tower. We climbed to the first level and had break then climbed to second level with another break. We chose the elevator to summit, which was breathtaking!! We were able to take the elevator ALL the way down!!!

It was a fun experience. Definitely a very hard climb, over 600 steps to climb to second story and than elevator up to the top. It rained yesterday which made it harder. Incredible experience for the first time. Views are amazing

Avoid booking for this trip. The guides are from City Wonders and they are extremely rude and inconsiderate. I booked this experience for me and my friends and we all hated it. We were by the Eiffel Tour 15 min before our tour but were not able to find the guide. I called the assistance number and it took about 35 min to answer my call. They asked the agent to come and collect us and when he did, he was rude and rushing us for nothing as even though you buy the ticket you still have to queue up. I was telling him that my elderly friend can't run like him and he shouted at me that my job is to take you to the queue, if you don't want to come I can leave you here which he actually did. I asked for his name as I wanted to complain about him and get my refund for this nonsense, he got scared and came back to us. Later after still queuing up, he was only giving instructions to other people and not us. When I pointed that out, he told me to calm down. Anyways, we went to the second floor to the eiffel tower and without saying anything he just disappeared. We did the tour on our own and paid for a very bad service!
