After early morning hotel pickup in Paris, travel with your knowledgeable guide and a small group of passengers east of the city. En route, bite into flaky croissants and pastries while hearing about the winemaking region of Champagne and its heritage.

Arrive at your first Champagne estate of the day, such as Moët & Chandon, Taittinger, or Veuve Clicquot (depending on availability). Step inside cellars, walk through a maze of galleries and enjoy a tasting at the end of the guided tour. Come away knowing the secrets behind the méthode champenoise.

Back in your air-conditioned minivan, pass through the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims, Cote des Blancs, and Vallée de la Marne, between Reims, Ay, and Epernay. One of the best day trips I have ever been on! Julia was such a great tour guide and so knowledgeable about the Champagne region and each of the vineyards we visited. The size of the small group was great and we were all friendly with each other by the end of the day. I highly recommend doing this experience if you're looking to get out of Paris for the day and do something different. We visited Moet & Chandon first and then two smaller vineyards in the afternoon, and each visit was unforgettable!

Emily and Nicolas were wonderful guides. It was a fun - but very long - day. We were only in Paris for a short amount of time so maybe not the best thing for me to have scheduled. We started at Taittinger where we got to go into the caves that aged the Champagne years ago which was really neat. From there we went to a scenic overlook to have another glass and be able to enjoy the view. Then a smaller family owned winery where we had lunch. The lunch was lovely - it's just there was no view. With the price we paid for the tour I was thinking it would have been more. Then we went to one last winery that had another tour and tasting. We were very tired by the time we got back to Paris with the travel to and from. If you love Champagne - book it! If you are on a short schedule in Paris I am not so sure it's the best fit.

Our guide, Julia, was amazing! She went above and beyond truly. She shared her extensive knowledge with us and gave us a great education. Her warm introductions and familiarity with the staff at the champagne houses was very helpful. At one point, I could not find my phone so she called and found it at the last location and while we toured she drove back 30 minutes and kindly retrieved it for me without a moment’s hesitation. She stopped and got us fresh croissants in the morning and hot coffee on the way home (all that champagne made us a bit sleepy!). Truly a lovely experience. We had 6 in our group which was perfect. I could see how 8 might be a little tight.

We had a fantastic time on our tour. Alexandre was a wonderful guide- very knowledgeable and relaxed. The day progressed nicely as we learned of the history and methodology of champagne making. The towns we drove thru were beautiful and everyone was welcoming and warm. Our lunch was yummy! Would highly recommend.
