California Lighthouse Segway Tour in Aruba

My husband and I have done several Segway tours in various locations. We think it's one of the best ways to see a lot in a short period of time, while also having a lot of fun. The 'vehicles' are easy to operate and are very quiet/peaceful. This tour didn't disappoint. We stopped at a few locations en route to the lighthouse: a small shipwreck near land that sticks out of the water and a monument that's been erected for it (and some ghostly folklore about it), a roadside pull-off to watch pelicans, and one of the local beaches. Once at the lighthouse, you can pay $5.00 to climb to the top for photos. The view is great! Our tour guide was sweet, patient, and attentive.

We have Segwayed in Grand Cayman, Nassau, and Freeport and this was the best tour so far. Our Guide Rene took us for a long drive along the beach then up to the California lighthouse. We made 3 or 4 10 minute stops so he could give us some history of the location so that our time on the Segway was over 2 hours. We arrived on a cruise ship and Although they normally pickup at hotels we were picked up at the Citco station at the end of the pier. Very convenient. We would do this tour again in Aruba

Been wanting to try segways forever, finally got the opportunity, LOVED it. Received about 10-15 minutes of instructions from my guide, Mr. M, can't pronounce or remember his name. He was amazing, patient and very easy to talk to and asked if I needed breaks so i could relax...which I did here and there as my feet fell asleep as I'm a 62 year old woman. It takes some getting used to balancing when going up and/or down a hill. An amazing tour as he explained things along the way. So worth it...and I'm glad I can finally erase this off my bucket list.

Our guide was excellent and I have no complaints. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Aruba.

We were met as promised near the ship and driven a few miles to the Segway location. We met our guide, Thomas, were given safety equipment, and quickly took off. The journey was beautiful and easy along gorgeous beaches. We stopped for refreshments and a bathroom visit on our way to the lighthouse. It was a glorious journey in every respect! Do this!

We have done Segway tours all over. Disney World, Bermuda, Bahamas, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Antigua...... This tour was one of the best! Alberto was super friendly and provided an awesome tour. We will do this again in Aruba when we go back.

Had a fabulous day with Alberto and Ernie! Ernie picked us up from the cruise ship and took us to Alberto, who taught us how to ride the Segway and let us practice until we were comfortable to go. Alberto was very knowledgeable of the island and shared lots of information with us. We rode on the road, the beach and around the lighthouse - even had a nice break at the beach where he bought us a soda. Alberto used our phones to take pictures and videos of us riding. Segway was actually easier to ride than I thought it would be, and Alberto made sure to help us getting on and off. Ernie took us back to ship when we were done and even provided some information on the island. One of my favorite port adventures of any cruise ever! Would definitely recommend and would try to do it again if we return to Aruba.

This tour was fabulous, even though we only got through half of it. My husband became very sick from dehydration and couldn't continue, but Alberto was fabulous. During the segway tour, he was very patient, knowledgable, and experienced. He knew alot about the area, and the history of everything we observed. I felt totally comfortable and safe with Alberto, and am really sorry we didn't get to complete the tour.....Well worth the time and money. Can't think of a better way to explore the island....
