The Whole Story Tour + A Ride

Wow! That's the only way I can start this review! We have friends who recommended we do this tour in Aruba. They were staying on the island and looking for something other than beach. Boy, did they discover a winner and so did we! Tito Bolivar is a handsome young artist/director/mentor who has given this once dilapitated area of San Nicolas the most beautiful art murals you have ever seen. We were picked up at the port by Tito's lovely companion and driven right to the front door of ARTISA and introduced to Leon who would guide us through the streets decorated with these magnificent murals. It was the story they told and the in-depth knowledge Leon had that impressed us the most. This is a must-do for anyone who loves art and history. Best Caribbean experience we have ever had. Don't miss it!

My wife found this tour, and it turned out to me much more than I expected. Our guide, Leon Berenos, was one of the most interesting people I ever have met in my life. Not only did he give us a very detailed tour of the city of San Nicholas and the wonderful building murals that adorn this city, but went in to great depth explaining the art, the artists, the city and the country (of Aruba). This was a private tour that was very reasonably priced and worth every penny (plus more!)! We HIGHLY recommend this tour to EVERYONE, regardless of whether you are an art expert or no absolutely NOTHING about art at all!! This is a human story that just happens to revolve around art! One of best experiences of my wife's and my lives!!!

My fiance and I decided to book this walking tour since we loved the downtown Oranjestad walking tour we did last Nov (2018). We really love learning about the culture of the places we visit, as opposed to "touristy" things. This walking tour did NOT disappoint! Leon picked us up from our hotel, showed us around all of San Nicolas, explaining each and every piece of beautiful art that we came across, and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Leon even took us to a few locations on the ride to and from our hotel to show us some places that we would not have typically gone to or come across on our own. He really knows his stuff, and he was beyond accommodating with us! We love Leon and would absolutely recommend this tour to everyone!

This tour was awesome! Maurenna pick me up from my hotel. There she introduced me to my guide and new friend, Leon. He graciously explained the artwork inside the studio before we headed out. We walked around a few blocks in town to see the murals and Leon knew the story behind each and everyone. The murals were a sight to see! There's a Jamaican restaurant across the street from his art studio where you may order lunch before heading back. I enjoyed my time with Leon! Thanks!
