Would recommend upper or lower over this

While the canyons were cool to see of course, the lower or upper canyons are a much better experience, especially for the cost. I would not recommend this tour for the $$ - short walks through two canyons, and again, while pretty, the lower or upper tours you get a lot more for your money. Also, there is a significant slope/stairs coming back up from the canyons, and I would not recommend to anyone who has any trouble walking, especially hills.

The tour was supposed to be 0800 to 1200, instead, it started at 1245. It changed my whole day, lucky we could move our other commitment. It was also not all paid for, the driver said we had to pay for the Navajo pass. I did not tip the driver. Book direct with the Native tour groups, it is cheaper and easier.

1. Tour guide was very knowledgable but was rushing us throughout the tour.
2. Web site displayed 13 year old as adult when I selected the tickets. So for two adults and two kids I paid the price of 3 adults and 1 kid. Viator did not provide me a refund. They had more than a month to fix this issue but did not help with it.
3. Customer service is poor.

We met at 2:20. One man drove us to Canyon X. Then we were driven in a different van closer to the canyon. Our time in the canyon was very rushed with hordes of people and our guide offered NO explanation, just took some so-so photos of us. Then 2 more van rides and dropped off at Horseshoe bend to wander on our own. No tour guide. Could have done better on our own.

If you can’t decide between upper and lower Antelope canyon then you should visit Canyon X. Features both A and V slot canyons offering similarly stunning views and way less people. Our guide Jordan did a great job and I would definitely come back again for the only photography tour still available in the canyon.
