Côtes de Provence Small Group Day Trip with Winery Visits & Tastings from Nice

We had an amazing time on this tour! My fiancé and I have been on several wine tours in the United States and were interested to learn more about French wines, in particular wines from Provence. This tour was exactly what we hoped for! Our guide, Peter, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He provided helpful background information about classification of French wines and then introduced us to wine making in Provence. We went to 3 vineyards - all were excellent and different!!! We really enjoyed the variety, and we were able to taste white, rosé, and red wines at each site (and Peter kindly showed us how to taste the wines properly). The town we stopped in for lunch was also enjoyable with multiple food options across different price ranges. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this tour to others looking for a more intimate introduction to the wines of Provence.

This was our first small group tour and we were very pleased with the experience. Our guide, Peter, was very knowledgeable of the wines of Provence and took us to three uniquely different wineries. He gave us plenty of time to taste the wines and make purchases. We stopped in a medieval local village for lunch where there were several nice options. Didn't really have time to sightsee in the town, however. Only comment was that is very difficult to hear the driver in the rear of the van. We are very glad we took this tour.

Peter was a great tour guide. Very informative, funny and interesting. We visited many vineyards and enjoyed all of the tastings. It was truly a full day filled with great wine tastings, friendly people and beautiful vineyards. We had lunch in a small village Peter stopped in and it was great. You are on your own and you can explore the town if you wish. We decided to have a true French meal. Our waitress was very patient because our French was not very good. Oh but that fish was absolutely delicious. Take this tour and enjoy a day out in Provence drinking some excellent wines.

We had a great time on this tour. We were 2 couples looking to have a nice relaxing and informative tour in Cotes de Provence. We got that and more. Our tour guide Peter picked us up, along with another couple and other women. Peter was witty and informative. We enjoyed our time with him. We visited Las D'Esclans, a family owned winery. Peter showed us the best ways to taste and I loved how he wanted everyone to say what we smelled and made it a personal experience. We then went to another winey( Unfortunately I can't remember the name) with amazing vines and this AWESOME cellar. We stopped for lunch on our own then went to the last winery- Chateau de Sint Martin. It's a great family winery that pasts down the matriarchy. This was the first winery that the owner/ worker at the winery gave the tastings ( the last two Peter did). You can tell how much she loves the wines she produced and how proud she was. Overall an amazing experience and I highly recommend this tour!

The 21 year old in our group declared this her favorite day of our 10 day trip! Peter was a good host and driver and conveyed his knowledge and love of wine. The area is beautiful and a nice break from touring museums.

Peter was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide both on the area and the wines. Clean comfy van and a good driver. The three wineries were all interesting and different. We have been on many wine tours in various countries and would rate this one highly.

We spent a rainy and cool day touring the beautiful countryside and three wineries in Provence. The bad weather did not detour us from a having a great experience. Our tour guide Peter was friendly, knowledgeable and kept us on time. Highly recommend this tour!

Wine Tour of Cotes de Provence was amazing. We visited three wonderful wineries Domaine de Canta Rainette, Chateau Reva, and Jas D'Esclans. All three were very welcoming and great host. Our tour guide Peter was excellent and knowledgeable. Peter gave us time to ask questions, take pictures, and experience the every day operations of these great wineries. Highly recommended it.
