It’s fun and all that, but it would be nice if they stopped in the bay and let you take photos. I’ve taken the ride a few years ago and the people were more motivated and you could get up and take photos by the Statue of Liberty and of lower Manhattan. These guys wanted to drive out and back and be done.

Our twins who turned 18 and complain about everything loved it! I worked, lived in the city and did many water events rank it at the top

This ride is for you if you are not looking for history lesson.

Took a bunch of teenagers on this ride as part of my daughter's 16th b-day NYC trip. With zero tolerance to history lessons during summer break, this tour was exactly what doctor ordered. Just enough time was spent to take pictures by the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Entire trip was filled with thrill and excitement. Spraying people with water-guns is was really unnecessary. There is enough mist and natural splashing from the boat. If you state clearly in the beginning of the ride that you don't want to be sprayed, then they will probably won't do it.

The Beast via Viator, awesome!

Not only have I lived in NYC for over 10 years and have guests in often for which I always plan a lot of activities, but I had never done the Beast until now when some friends were visiting. It was so fun- wind in our hair, the crew, the vibe, the music- so fun loving and awesome. A great way to pick up the pace, literally, and see the city. Did not bother a friend who has sea sick/ motion sick tendencies. It's big enough and fast enough. You may bet a little wet, but it sure feels good on a hot day. The crew was so friendly and fun too!
