It was a great tour, with a very knowledgeable tour guide and certainly worth the visit. An eye-opening visit to the Nazi Party Rally Grounds was included.

Excellent Day Trip

One of four tours done with Radius Tours. We did this tour last week and the weather was kind to us. Jeff our tour guide was very engaged, knowledgeable, and made sure that we well well-informed about the things we saw and guided us well throughout the trip. Being we were a small group Jeff stayed with us throughout the whole trip. We even made friends with an extremely sweet German girl who was on this trip with us. All in all, an excellent trip made even better by an excellent tour guide. I would like to thank Daniel of Radius Tours who was extremely helpful and for making this possible. Nuremberg is a lovely town and I really recommend this trip to anybody.

Great tour guide! Well organized itinerary and our guide was very friendly. I wish this survey would let me stop at those comments instead of asking me to keep writing more before it lets me stop!!!

Great Tour & Well Organized

I just returned from our day tour of Nuremberg. Our tour guide was Chris and he was full of information and very pleasant. The tour started on time and Chris went out of his way to show us as many of the historical places. We were not scheduled to go to the courthouse on this tour but because it was a young group and we were moving fairly quickly so we took a group vote and shorten lunch to half an hour and did it all. There is lots to see in Nuremberg so I would suggest that you would require more than a day to really see everything. It is an easy 2-hour train ride from Munich. Well worth the visit

The tour was relaxing and a really interesting but freezing day. The long history of Nuremburg being a highlight. The guide was great, I cannot remember his name other than he was Algerian French. A really cool guy, informative and friendly, he did well in keeping an eye on quite a large group and making sure everyone was together.

Our tour guide Akim was very well informed and a wealth of information. Although there was a lot of walking it was worth it. The additional information as incredable and the tour was well worth it. On word of advice make sure you have a significent breakfast before leaving the train station. You will need it . Great tour and would do ir again. J carnagio

Fantastic Tour, Fantastic Guide

There have been some complaints about this tour which had me concerned. But we had no reason to be, we traveled on 12/23 one of the busiest commuting days due to the Christmas market. Our guide had no issues keeping the group of 20+ together. We had a wonderful tour of Nuremberg, learning about the vast history and had the option to skip the rally grounds for more time at the market which we exercised. We had a smooth meet up at the train station and then departure back to Munich. Wonderful excursion!!

Deceiving and Disappointing

Immediately we were told by our guide that it was going to be a rough tour. It was a Saturday and the Christmas markets were expected to be packed. We started in Munich with 21 people then once we arrived added about 20 more people to the tour. We were herded around the city like sheep being told to hurry and take photos and that we’d only have 3-4 minutes per stop. Even though I’m a fast walker it was very hard to keep up with the guide who was holding an unopened umbrella rushing through the streets, barely stopping to see if we were all still together. The worst part was that we almost missed our train back to Munich. The last part of the tour was to take a bus, then a train, then walk to the Nazi party rally grounds. It was unbearably cold and windy and our guide didn’t even explain what we were viewing. He would just stop and hold up some photos and basically lecture us about the Nazi party. We made it back to the train station with 3 minutes to spare before the train left. Overall, I wish I had just taken the train myself to Nürnberg. This was a waste of time and money. We were promised time on our own for lunch and we didn’t even get that. Our guide suggested some take away sausage sandwiches that were barely filling so we could move on to the other sites quicker. Would not recommend this tour to anyone. What a let down because the Salzburg tour I took with the same tour was incredible.

Chris was fantastic guide. Very noligable. He did go a little fast for some people. But was very good at pausing for everyone to catch up and he did not start talking until everyone could hear him. That was great for everyone.
