Dachau Tour from Munich

Jamie gave us a great tour. I've been to dachau ten years ago and his tour provided so much more information than I remember from last time. Would recommend this to anyone.

Jaime knows the history of the site and has talked with survivors of incarceration there. He understands the impact facing those on the tour and is matter-of-fact rather than sensationalist I his narrative. It was an informative and moving experience.

Having just toured Dachau with Jaime, I would like to thank him for an insightful, respectful experience. He explained the historical timelines, and the creation of these camps and their horrors within. He engaged with all of our group, and answered all questions with knowledge and sensitivity. The art pieces in the camp, created by artists with personal history there, are memorable and thought provoking; Jaime described the meanings behind them.

Jamie, Irish native, was very well informed, articulate, and passionate about the history of Dachau. He appreciated and made us feel comfortable when asking questions, and encouraged them as he knew it would benefit the others in the tour group. Jamie researches the history of Dachau, interviews survivors, and stays current with the latest available information. He was very conscientious and customer oriented as he walked us through the logistics of getting on the trains and buses to and from Dachau. My wife and I, from Houston, TX highly recommend securing Jamie as your future Dachau tour guide.

Jamie was a great tour guide who gave a lot of information and was very knowledgeable. Visiting Dachau is worth doing and you come away learning a lot.

Jamie was, undoubtedly, the best guide we had on our journey in Germany. Visiting Dachau is a sensitive manner. It does requires respect. Our guide, Jamie, was providing the tour with an intelligent approach. No show off but sound reflexions.

This tour started out in Munich with a quick 10 min. train ride to Dachau followed by a 7-8 min. bus ride to the camp. Our tour guide, Jaime, was absolutely FANTASTIC!! He was a wealth of information and knowledge about the history of Dachau. As we walked through the camp, Jaime told us personal stories about people that were there, the conditions they faced, etc.. It was a very somber walk through the gas chamber and the memorials that were built afterwards. The tour took approximately 4 hours total. We would highly recommend this tour!! If you can book it with Jaime, even better!!

Voor mij was er te weinig tijd om op eigen houtje het kamp te bezoeken. Ik had geen tijd om de tentoonstelling te bezoeken.
