This full-day sightseeing adventure to the Laurentian Mountains begins with a morning hotel pickup in downtown Montreal, followed by a 2-hour drive. 

The Laurentian Mountains are one of Montreal’s favorite getaway spots. This mountain range in southern Quebec sits to the north of the Saint Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers and its highest point is 1,166 meters at Mont Raoul Blanchard.

The first stop is the ski village of Saint-Sauveur. Spend an hour exploring Principale Street, lined with a variety of boutiques featuring clothing, jewelry, gifts, souvenirs and several art galleries. There’s also a restaurant for every taste and mood.

Then it’s off to Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard, about 20 minutes away, for a brief photo stop of Lac Joseph before continuing another 30 minutes to the village of Saint-Agathe-des-Monts.

Finally, it’s off to Mont-Tremblant for approximately three hours of free time to eat, shop and walk around the village. This small town is home to the top ski resort in eastern North America. Spend time exploring the many activities and attractions. No matter the time of year, there’s always something happening. And there are a seemingly endless number of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops to visit. Enjoy a French-style lunch with a glass of wine. Ride a gondola to the top of Mont Tremblant. There are so many possibilities.

At the end of the day, make the two-hour drive back to Montreal for a hotel drop-off.

The boat cruise was great to go. Shops and restaurants at Mount Trumblant were almost closed due to low season. Thus, not much to see.

Very beautiful scenery. Wish we would of had a list of places stopping since we were having a hard time understanding everything. Even if the tour director was doing English and French. Also driver needs to make sure on drop off that they have the correct hotel since there were two in the area that were Best Western but 30 minutes walking between the two. We were dropped off and it was only suppose to be one block to our hotel. We had figure out where we were and figure out the direction we need to walk which was difficult since we were not that familiar with Montreal. We made it after asking a couple of security people

Spectalular scenery. The autumn foilage was stunning. The tour guide was very informative and translated short sentences both in English and French. On the whole the tour was well worth the money. The river cruise was good. Even though the chairs were plastic for the 50 minutes the cruise lasted they were quite acceptable. I would have liked half hour more in Mont Treblant as by the time you walked down the path back to the bus we didnt eat in at any of the restaurants because of the queques. The last village we called at, again I would have liked at least 15 minutes more because once again I was concerned about the time as opposed to the vis n vis to order coffee at their renowned popular shop.

This trip was lovely. The guide Norman was very knowledgeable. We stopped at 3 places. I didn't feel rushed at any of the places. I even went to the top of Mont Tremblant and was still able to eat/see the town. Norman was so nice and would tell when photo moments were coming while on the bus when we couldn't get off the bus due to being on the road.

My husband and I give high marks for an excellent motor coach trip to the Laurentian Mountains. Our guide Swann and driver Roger were a great team. Swann created just the right number of breaks to accommodate the trip as planned. We loved the small towns, the stop for coffee and pastry, the boat trip, and lunch stop. All worked perfectly. We had just the right amount of time at Mt. Tremblant to ride the gondola to the top of the mountain for a great view of the fall colors. I highly recommend this trip, though I know it is in large part due to the skills of our particular tour leader and bus driver.

Let me first say that the tour guide was very knowledgeable. However, I would not recommend this to anyone. You spend most of the day on a bus and all in all its very boring. We didnt even like the boat ride on the lake as it was in an all enclosed boat where you stay seated on plastic chairs. The best place we stopped was Montblanc ski resort, but didnt have enough time for activities. Instead of stopping in a small town to eat lunch where there wasnt anything to do, the bus should have mgone directly to the ski resort for for lunch and activities. Again, however, if you want to see the ski resort, I would recommend going straight there and skipping this tour.

Really good route and tour! However, having to depart at 7 am which entails getting up very early only to be taken to a bus station to wait for an additional hour prior to departure is a major disadvantage. You basically end up sleeping your way through most of the trip other than the stops and missing out the views.

Fabulous tour. Marie Clair is an excellent tour guide who is concerned about everyone's enjoyment on the tour. The scenery, the comfortable bus, the history, all made this an outstanding day trip. You really get your money's worth, and there's no other way to see the Laurentian Mountains unless you are driving yourself and staying overnight.

This trip was not as described. There were no stops except for the cruise and Mt. Tremblant and a bathroom break at a convenience store. The description mentions stops in scenic small towns with boutiques,etc along the way but we never did this. We were also significantly delayed by a bus breakdown and had to wait on the road for over an hour for a replacement bus. However, the breakdown was NOT the reason for the changed itinerary because it happened further down the road than the described stops. At Mt. Tremblant, there really isn't that much to do unless you pay the additional 20 to go to the top of the mountain. Didn't care for the guide, either. We were really looking forward to this trip and found it wasn't at all worth what it cost.

very boring , waste of time tour. the bus driver did a terrible job driving - made must of us motion sick and he was a bit of a jerk. he flew through 2 of the towns. the 3rd town was boring. it you aren't under 70 years old, don't waste you valuable vacation day and time on this
