Swiss Alps Bernina Express Rail Tour from Milan

Such an amazing train journey through the alps. Stunning views. Comfortable bus ride and wonderful guide.

Everything was good, the sceneries amazing, well organised, the only thing is We weren't allow to eat on the bus, the tour starts at 7pm me and my friends were starving and we had to wait until we arrived to a town just to eat a croissant and coffee, will be good if people know in advice this specially if you travel with children so you can prepare and eat something before you go in to the bus.

The rides through the alps via train and bus were beautiful and well worth the fee. However, the multiple stops were rushed and unnecessary and offered little in terms of food/drink. Overall, the tour was unorganized, rushed, and we felt like it was a waste of a full Day of our vacation. Do a day or two in cinque terre instead.

We took the tour via travel agency Zani Viaggi. The tour guide was terrible who was not even able to complete the sentences in English. Secondly, he was too rude to be a tour guide who was constantly yelling at the tourists and was not willing to stop the bus for bathroom breaks as well (no matter how urgent is it for anyone). He even has the audacity to skip giving us the feedback forms just to avoid a bad review.

For me this was the best one-day tour I have ever experienced. Sarah is an outstanding guide and maximised photo opportunities by warning us when each new dramatic photo opportunity was about to evolve. This is a Jam-packed tour where you are occupied for the full 12 hours, viewing one jaw-dropping scene after another guided by someone who is as passionate about the tour and what you see, as they were the first time they saw it themselves....totally understandable as you take in the most breath-taking scenery you are ever likely to see. The schedule is tight and I would have liked more time in St Moritz, but it has given me the incentive to return to do exactly that...

The trip includes a train trip and a return through bus. There are two stops a. At some restaurant and b. From where one begin the train journey. Train trip was wow...but the stoppage at two points before the journey reduces the time to stay at Saint moretz as it's hardly 1 hour and once cannot see anything to satisfaction over there. One even cannot go to city and come back in that time. So it feels like your are dropped to make point and picked up immediately. That's had to be atleast 2-3 hours for make the trip more exciting. BERNINA train journey was brilliant and one can open windows to see if the amazing outside views. Only if the trip removes the earlier two stoppages and increase the time at saint moretz this tour would have 5 stars. Also the name Bernina is not on the train and we see it's on some other coatches which are basically first class coaches. So it seems another red train and not bernina as in pictures one cannot claim to any that it is bernina express except from the views one see. There are two turns which are attractive on way and rest is snow. There not much tunnels and views or bridges in the way as was told in earlier reviews. So be prepared that one see only few things and not that much as was told in reviews. I prefer joungfrough or titlis tour over this one as it's not as worth as those tours when you go for comparison. Overall swiss is most wonderful of world so no one can say anything thing against it. I love swiss always. I recommend one to take bernina and stay over night at saint moretz and come back next day to have complete satisfaction of the place. There is much more in saint moretz than just take picture in front of banner of saint moretz and come back. Further there are routes other than the one we had taken and it is important to explore all those route instead of going and coming back on same route and one should explore those too

Breathtaking views, pure mountain air, comfort and warmth aboard the train, amazing talented informative tour guide (Michael-Angelo) and good value for money- this trip has been a dream come true! Would do it again over and over and never tire of the experience

Great tour with fantastic view and comfortable ride. Our tour guide , Inna was good and accommodative. We started our journey at 7am by coach and stop at Tirano for lunch at about 11.30am. We chose pre ordered set lunch proposed by the tour guide and I think that was really a good idea as we do not have much time to look for places to eat. At about 1pm we leave Tirano with Bernina Train and the ride was fantastic and the view was spectacular. We arrived at St Moritz but was given only one hour to walk around, I think that is really short. We need more time in St Moritz to enjoy the view. Nevertheless, the trip was worth.

Amazing sights! Went through a huge snow storm on the way up to St Moritz. Beautiful. The town was very quiet as it was off season but we were so pleased that we made this trip. A really fun day!
