Bernina Scenic Train & Lake Como

Our guide Giovanni was really helpful and friendly. My parents had nothing but praises for him. He was attentive to our needs and interests — even bringing me to get dried pizzoccheri pasta after lunch because I wanted to. My family is convinced to come back to lake como again someday because of his hospitality. thank you for the wonderful experience!

We enjoyed this tour immensely. Our guide Luca was very professional and helpful throughout the tour. We were received at Varenna staton and taken to Tirano from where we took the beautiful Bernina Express train a few stops short of St Moritz and then went the rest of the way to St Moritz by road. From St Moritz we drove back to Varenna. For those of you with motion sickness, please be careful during the return car ride. Luca took care of us by recommending a great place to eat for our special dietary needs. He was also very polite and patient talking to us through the tour. Luca is quite passionate about his job and enjoys it thoroughly, and we experienced that. A special word of appreciation for Giovanni who drove us through the whole trip and made us feel comfortable. We as a family highly recommend this trip.

The tour was an experience beyond expectation. All the locations - Lake Como, all the small Italian towns, the Alps as seen from the Bernina Express, as well as St. Moritz are well worth seeing. Our tour guide, Luca, was very knowledgeable. He treated us more like friends than tourists, and made sure all our photos were perfect. Will definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

Fantastic Tour guide and gentleman! Makes me proud to be an Italian American. He was very responsive before the trip and he provided so much information during the trip. He was so nice and kind to my wife and college age son. He got to know us and our background while we were driving to each sight. We enjoyed getting to know his background. I told him if I have any family members planning on going to Lake Como area in the future, I would refer them to him. Fantastic Bernina Express tour with amazing views. Awesome Wine and Cheese Cellar tour. Varenna was a quaint village Lunch in Tirano was amazing, as usual in Italy. Tour guide even made sure we got back on the train for our return to Milan. A CLASS ACT !
