Great Zoo Experience!
, Jul 2021
Great experience, went two days back to back. Park was accomodating as we purchased tickets for one day, but could not go for that day due to serious flight delays.
I would do this again

Most of the animals habitats are very well done. The experience is worth every minute. I highly recommend transportation. After 3 hours of walking I wanted a ride, badly.

Half of the attractions and exhibits were closed but we were still charged full price. Feeding the giraffes was awesome though!
Very Disappointed tourists!!!!!!!!

Did the train ride but there were no animals to see throughout the entire 40 minute. We may have seen 5 animals total. We paid to see animals...... not to hear about the history of the zoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The alligator tunnel was amazing my son, niece , and nephew loved it along with all the adults! We didn’t get to experience everything because of the storm 😭 But what we did see we loved !

I loved the animals, activities, and staff. This is an excellent adventure for the entire family. I was astounded by the different types of animals.
Great Visit

The Golden Elephant! The Culture. I didn't notice the flamingos until the end of the trip but it was still cool. Definitely will recommend for others to visit.

Visit to Miami Zoo!
, Jun 2021
I enjoyed the fact that there were so many animals to view. During the time I visited the animals seemed to be tired or not interested. However, I still enjoyed seeing them all
Hot day at zoo
, Jun 2021
We booked reservations for tickets for the day we arrived in Miami. We ended up arriving one hour before close, which was 5pm. (Wished it was a bit later as during the daytime it was 🥵 HOT!!, may have been more enjoyable for us in the evening once the hot sun had died down a bit) however they allowed us to return the next day advising it would take at least 3hrs to walk around the zoo and see all the animals. The following day we returned and it was hot in the afternoon. We stayed from about 3:30-4:50 and that was plenty for us due to the heat. There were sprinklers that misted to keep you cool and complimentary fountains to refill your water bottle, that was thoughtful. Many of The animals seemed quite far away from the fences. We did not have it in us to walk the zoo in its entirety. They did have bicycle-type peddle carts with seating for 4 with shade over the top of them that you could rent to get around more quickly and have shade. There was also a monorail/train type transportation that went around above the property-either of those may have been more enjoyable than walking. Overall it was an ok experience, we walked quickly due to heat and time so we weren’t really able To see all the animals or spend much time at each one, the zoo was pretty big with different sections based on regions of the world. The animals were mostly all quite far away. I did appreciate that even though our tickets from Viator were dated for particular date they allowed us to enter the next day, regardless. I feel like it would have been much better on a day that was not so hot, but that’s not the zoos fault, they cannot control the weather. My advice would be to go early and have plenty of time for breaks and to cool down, maybe bring an umbrella for shade or pick a day that is not scorching hot!
