Long explanations,...

Long explanations, repetitive. The guide has a strong accent in English, difficult to understand more than 30% even if I am french but perfectly bilingual in English.

We were lucky that the group was small; we benefited from Fabio’s experience as an anthropologist.

Having studied anthropology, our guide was able to give us great insight into the museum and he stuck to a strict series of timelines which linked all the aspects of mezzo American development from the Olmec onwards. His programme took us away from the crowded exhibition rooms and so we were able to view the objects clearly. A great visit and a first class introduction to the collection.

Will definitely recommended. The museum is huge not way you will see it in a day, The guide (Leonardo) did it in a way that it was easy to understand the history of ancient civilization in Mexico.

Great introductory tour

We visited the museum with Amigo Tours. There was another couple from the US with us, so it was a treat to be able to ask as many questions as we had. The museum is huge and the 3 hour tour only covered the first floor. I think our guide’s name was Dianna, she had good English and was explaining in an enthusiastic and lively manner. The museum is incredible! The tour gives enough info to go through the first floor again and look closely at every single artifact.
