Our food tour of old Lyon was such a worthwhile experience! Not only was the food delicious, but the vendors were passionate and our guide (Vincent) was outstanding! We enjoyed connecting with other people in our group and the weather was incredible (we came in the mid-May). We quickly fell in love with Lyon when we arrived but this tour taught us so much for more than just about the food we were eating. PLEASE book if you go to Lyon, it is absolutely the best!

Amandine was an amazing guide! So warm, funny, and open to questions! You'll visit a fromagerie, a wine/charcuterie bar, a chocolate shop, a bouchon as well as a cafe. There is also stops at a silk weavers store and the secret Lyon passageways that brings alive the history of the city. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Vincent was a marvelous guide who was friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about Lyon’s history and food culture. We visited a delightful fromagerie, an authentic Lyonnaise Boucherie, a very interesting prepared-food establishment, a Willy Wonka-like chocolate maker, and more. In addition to tasting delicious and authentic foods, we met interesting local characters who shared their home-made delicacies, and the stories behind them, with us.
