Depart central London by air-conditioned coach and venture into the English countryside. As you travel, hear interesting facts about the region and your first destination — the prehistoric monument of Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain.

On arrival, enjoy time to explore this atmospheric site at leisure. Head inside, collect an informative audio guide, and ride the shuttle or follow the pathways to the UNESCO-listed stones that date back some 4,500 years.

Marvel at the gigantic stones and ponder how they were transported and raised here. Then, learn how and why Stonehenge was built — most scholars believe it formed a temple aligned to the sun — through the archaeological exhibitions and audiovisual experiences at the visitor center.
Next, continue west to the 18th-century city of Bath. All honey-stoned townhouses, terraces and bridges, this UNESCO-listed city is one of England’s crowning glories.

Enjoy the afternoon to explore this delightful city independently. Perhaps delve into the handsome streets to admire the Georgian architecture, seeing top Bath attractions such the Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge that spans the Avon River.

Alternatively, upgrade to visit the Roman Baths, one of the world’s best-preserved sets of Roman remains. Explore the Great Bath and museum, and discover how the Romans built and expanded the complex over Baths’ natural springs from the 1st century AD.

Or, perhaps upgrade to visit the Jane Austen Visitor Centre. The much-loved English novelist lived in Bath in the early 1800s, and this fascinating museum chronicles her life and works through documents, artifacts and interactive experiences.

Lastly, return to London, where your tour ends with a drop-off near Victoria rail station.

Amazing informative tour. Pepe was great tour guide ! We got enough time at each location. The bus ride is definitely a bit long to return. So plan to have the whole day

Tour amazing. Bus terrible.

The bus was apparently designed for 10 year olds. I am tall but normal weight and there was no way to fit or be comfortable on the bus. Added to that, we were at the back and had no air. But I would do it again if it were the only way to see Stonehenge and Bath. Germaine was a brilliant driver of the hell bus, and Frank was adorable. He shared so much information and was helpful throughout the day. He was exactly what I would expect a British tour guide to be (in all the good ways!) As far as the bus, it helped to imagine that tourists during the regency period were just as uncomfortable in their carriages.

Andrew was an amazing guide and John was a safe driver. I highly recommend this tour as it was well paced and "just enough". I do not know how the other tours fit more stops in to the agenda.

Too much packed into one day

Stonehenge and Shakespeare’s school were amazing. I would have liked a little less of the “comedy” routine from the guide, especially when it didn’t relate to the trip; it was painful at times. I also felt that too much was packed into the day so each attraction had to be rushed. We were able to see very little of Bath because we also had to fit lunch into the very short space of time. We seemed to spend most of the day on the coach. Neil, the driver, did an amazing job and our thanks to him. I was with my adult son as we both have a love of history. The options below only give the choice of family (teens) or family (young children) and it insists I choose one of the options!

Was a wonderful and memorable trip. Frank and Neil were great!! I took this tour about 2 years ago and the tour guide then was not as good as Frank. Loved that he took the time to explain the different items of interest along the route. Cudos to Frank!!

Overall great experience

I went with a friend and we both really enjoyed the whole trip, and our guide and nice and knowledgeable. The only downside is that we felt it would've been nice to have a bit more time in both stops, particularly in Bath (we got the option with the roman baths, so we only had around one hour to see the city, which was a shame).

Very easy and well worth it

I really enjoyed my day. Finding the coach was very easy, and everything was on time. The coach bus was very comfortable, and the guide provided really helpful and interesting information along the way. The amount of time at Stonehenge was perfect (approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes), however I do wish we could have had more time in Bath. It took another 2 hours to get from Stonehenge to Bath, and then we only had 2 hours and 30 minutes in Bath. Bath is an amazing city, and in the future I would plan to spend a whole day there. I did pay the additional amount for the ticket to see the Roman Baths, and I am very glad I did, definitely well worth it and amazing how well they have preserved so many things. We had to depart at 4:30pm (and it is a 3 hour journey back to London), so I understand why, but it would have been nice to have even just one more hour in Bath so that there was time to sightsee + have dinner. I think it's definitely worth it as there is no direct public transportation to Stonehenge. Our guide did a good job and led us on a little walking tour around Bath, which was very insightful. Our driver also did a great job.
