Depart from London and travel out of the city in your air-conditioned coach toward the majestic Windsor Castle. Home of the British Royal Family for 900 years, and location for the 2018 Royal Wedding, Windsor is the world's largest and oldest occupied castle and widely considered one of England’s finest. Explore the lavishly-decorated State Apartments and St George's Chapel with your guide and hear of the castle’s fascinating history and heritage.

Continue on through the rolling green Wiltshire landscape to Stonehenge, a collection of stones dragged to this lonely plain near Salisbury 5,000 years ago. This ancient stone circle is still a place of strong spiritual significance, and continues to capture the imagination of the many visitors it welcomes each year. Why the stones were placed here and what purpose they served remains a mystery though, so wander around the site at your leisure and decide for yourself why these age-old rocks have found themselves here. Take a look around the visitors’ center and learn the history of this ancient, mysterious site. During your visit enjoy a free interactive map and VOX personal headset that is exclusive to this tour.

Next, hop back in your coach and continue onward to Bath, famous for its elegant Georgian architecture and widely considered one of England’s prettiest cities. Follow your guide on a panoramic tour of Bath and be enchanted by the town's beautiful streets and alleyways, capturing the sites on camera as you go. You'll see Bath Abbey and the much-photographed Pulteney Bridge, modeled on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. During the tour, you will see the city’s famous Roman Baths — the best preserved Roman spa from the ancient world.

At the end of your time in Bath, travel back to London’s Victoria Coach Station where your day trip concludes.

Stop At:
Windsor Castle
Our first stop is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the British Royal family for more than 900 years and the largest, continuously occupied castle in Europe. Marvel at the splendour of the State Apartments, the grandest apartments in England, where paintings by Van Dyck and Rubens hang from the walls and the ceilings are painted with elaborate, magnificent murals. Step inside St George’s Chapel, where HRH Prince Harry married Ms Meghan Markle and the tombs of prominent previous monarchs are located, including Henry VIII and Charles I. Don’t miss a colourful display of typical British pageantry that takes place every morning at the Changing the Guard ceremony, where the handover of duties between guards to the Queen takes place. If Her Majesty is in Windsor during your visit, you may be lucky enough to see the Royal Standard flying on the flagpole of the Round Tower.

Bath Abbey is an Anglican parish church and former Benedictine monastery in Bath, Somerset, England.[3] Founded in the 7th century, it was reorganised in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries; major restoration work was carried out by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the 1860s. It is one of the largest examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture in the West Country. The cathedral was consolidated to Wells Cathedral in 1539 after the abbey was dissolved in the Dissolution of the Monasteries, but the name of the diocese has remained unchanged.

The Royal Crescent is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent in the city of Bath, England. Designed by the architect John Wood, the Younger and built between 1767 and 1774, it is among the greatest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in the United Kingdom and is a Grade I listed building. Although some changes have been made to the various interiors over the years, the Georgian stone façade remains much as it was when it was first built.

Overall ok
Sunshine_N

It was overall ok. We just hope the tour in Bath included the entrance to the Roman Bath's as well, as the trip felt a bit boring when the only thing we were able to do was to go around the crowded town centre and sadly we were not able to see the exact Roman Bath's at all.

Not much time anywhere
Steve_B
, Dec 2021
There was not enough time spent at Windsor. You couldn’t get through the audio tour in the time there. Way Too much time spent at Stone Henge, that audio was way too long to listen to, and boring. Very dis appointed in Bath, tickets did not allow us to go into the Bath building, you only saw it from the outside. When I signed up the pictures showed the Baths so I thought we’d be getting that admittance inside. . All you could do is walk, shop, eat or drink there. Not what I was paying for.

Dear Steve, Thank you so much for getting in touch with us. We are sorry to hear that you would have liked more time in Windsor Castle and felt as though there was too much time in Stonehenge. We agree with you that we would love to allow more time in each of the venues on this tour however, as I am sure the guide explained to you, we often refer to this tour as a ‘taster tour’ as it allows you to see some of the UKs top attractions, but we are restricted with time in each venue due to driving hour legislation. Thank you for your feedback with regards to the Roman Baths, it should be clear at the time of booking that it was not included however please could you send us an email with your reservation number so that we can investigate (our email address is reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk). Thank you again and we look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes, Evan Evans Tours

South England in literally 12 hours!!
Virender_P
, Dec 2021
Action-packed day with almost 50% of travelling and 50% visit time. This is a good option if you are looking to cover three of the important sites of South England in one day as you won't get a lot of time to spend at any of these sites. But perfect for people like me who like to cover a lot of things in a compact schedule. Overall 100% recommended. (Do buy with entry tickets to Windsor and Stonehenge to save yourself from any last-minute issues).

Dear Virende, Thank you for the 5* review! We are thrilled to see that you enjoyed the tour with us. We often describe this tour as a ‘taster tour’ as it allows you to see some of the UKs top attractions all in one, for others who wish to have a more relaxed day with more time at each venue we do have a number of other tours which only include one or two venues which allows more time for exploration. We appreciate you recommending this tour. We hope to see you again soon. Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Great but didn’t include bath admission like it said when I purchase. We didn’t get to go in and see the Roman baths

Loved!
Shelby_L
, Dec 2021
Loved the tour definitely worth the price. It’s a long day but you get to see a lot and the guide gives you additional information along the way. Our guide Nick was very knowledgeable and nice and the driver did a great job. We paid the additional to tour the sites and it was well worth it. Bring snacks and something to drink with you, you will stop but never have time for a real meal. We brought a few snacks and grabbed a sandwich at Stonehenge and some street food in Bath. 10/10 would recommend.
