Overview
Ride in a specially-equipped buggy through the Nevada desert during this adrenaline-fueled activity departing from Las Vegas. On your own or with a friend, navigate through the area's most challenging terrain wearing full safety gear. 'Rolling Stone' named this excursion as Vegas' Best Near-Death Experience. Following pickup at your Las Vegas hotel, travel to the dune buggy facility in a comfortable vehicle, a trip that takes roughly an hour.
Upon arrival at the site, meet your local guide and receive a safety briefing and orientation. The buggies are custom-built to handle the rugged Nevada terrain and are equipped with seat belts and roll cages. Single buggies are not offered; if you wish to have your own buggy, you must purchase two seats.
Don your helmet and safety goggles, then set off over the sand. Pilot your buggy over challenging terrain, wearing a full-face mask and 4-point restraint harness at all times. On the 30-minute ride, cover between 10 and 15 miles (16 and 24 km) of aggressive terrain.
After exploring the rugged terrain of the Nevada desert, enjoy the ride back to your Las Vegas hotel for drop-off.

Itinerary
Check in at our Fabrication and Training facility where we custom build your off road thrill machines! You will be fitted with safety gear, watch a brief orientation video, and have a chance to use the restroom before heading to the Dune Buggy staging area only about a mile away. You will also have the opportunity to tour the fabrication department where we hand craft the world famous SunBuggy Desert Racers! Lockers are available free of charge to store anything you don't wish to loose out in the desert.

This is 15,000 acres of radically varied high desert terrain right on the edge of Las Vegas, only 15 miles from the strip. (You can see the strip from the tops of the dunes!) After a brief on site orientation, SunBuggy Dunies lead small groups on a high intensity CHASE where your skills will be pushed to the max! You are in the drivers seat, with a steering wheel without a "Racing Driving Coach" sitting next to you telling you to slow down! Includes helmet, goggles, gas, and cold bottled water (no extra extras waiting to surprise you!)
SunBuggy Desert Racers are extremely rugged, with an aggressive low and wide stance that makes them remarkably stable! These vehicles have a Fully Welded double loop Steel Roll Cage and 4 Point Harness style seat belt. This is several times longer than other so called Race Driving Experiences and certainly much much more intense!
We include unlimited icy cold bottled water to keep you hydrated!

After returning from your adventure, you will drop off your safety gear, pick up any belongings that had been secured in the free lockers, get your souvenir SunBuggy Las Vegas T-shirt, and have a shuttle take you back to your point of origin.
