This sightseeing tour to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon begins with a hotel pickup in Las Vegas. Hop aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned motor coach equipped with reclining seats and large windows. Then make the trek east, passing through Joshua Tree forests and the Mojave Desert, and past the beautiful Lake Mead to the Grand Canyon.

Upon arrival at the Grand Canyon, enjoy hours of self-guided exploring at the West Rim. Hike to the Eagle Point and Guano Point overlooks to take in the amazing views. Visit the Hualapai Ranch for a wild west show and enjoy a delicious hot lunch available from a variety of different outlets (included in tour price). There are many options and a variety of exciting possibilities.

There are also two upgrades to consider during this time frame. First, consider adding a thrilling walk on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass walkway nearly 4,000 feet above the floor of the canyon. Secondly, there's a stunning helicopter/boat ride. Lift off high above the canyon in a helicopter, then swoop down between its walls and land on the canyon floor. Walk around, get an up-close look at the many layers of the interior of the canyon and gain an even greater appreciation of the immensity of this natural wonder. Additionally, enjoy a pontoon boat ride along the Colorado River, looking up at the canyon’s many beautiful colors and stunning rock formations.

Very bad

The bus tour was so crammed and packed. It would be better to just rent a car or take a smaller tour to the location. You don’t actually do the Hoover Dam tour as advertise you just drive near it. The meal ticket at the skywalk is almost irrelevant as they take more than an hour to provide food once ordered. Then even though there was a designated time to return to the bus, the bus didn’t leave for over an additional two hours because some others didn’t return at the required time. I would never do this or refer anyone to this tour again.

Don’t book it.

The driver and guide were awesome. HOWEVER the advertisement says you get 4 hours at the west rim, but that’s not the case. To use the lunch voucher that’s included in the price takes about an hour by the time you wait in line and wait on your food. We were given 3 hours instead of the four to eat, do the skywalk and see everything. In reality you have to squeeze your activities in about a 2 hour time frame. I think our whole group was disappointed in the money spent on this. Thank goodness the views we did get to see were amazing.

Bus trip was great. Very good commentator. Efficient loading and unloading. Don't miss the Grand Canyon if you've never seen it before. Only issue was getting lunch as the Cafe at the Skywalk was overcrowded and understaffed. Waited 1 hr 35 min for burgers.

Grand Canyon is beautiful, time allowed not so much

The Grand Canyon was beautiful but the setup of the tour left much to be desired. We meet the driver at 7:00 in the morning and picked up at two other hotels. We made one stop at a gas station for a restroom break and snacks. (There is a restroom onboard also) we arrived at the Grand Canyon at 10:30am. The driver stated we had to be back in the bus by 2:15pm. You have to get your temp taken then the driver hands out tickets which takes away from your time. You go through the Viator’s center to board the bus to the different locations within the Canyon. It was a every busy day so it took us about 30 minutes to get on the bus to the first location, Guano Point. Guano Point is absolutely beautiful and gives a 360 view of the Canyon but we felt rushed with the time limits and the wait for buses to the other location. We arrived at the Skywalk with 1 hour and 45 minutes left but that does factor in wait time and bus ride back to tour bus. The wait for the restaurant where we had food vouchers was 2 hours so we had to purchase additional food in the downstairs snack area and never got to use our vouchers. We did the Skywalk and it was fun and the photographer took some great pics. The pics are expensive but worth it to me for the memories. After taking the Skywalk pics and waiting in the downstairs snack line it was time to get back to the tour bus. No time to really take in the scenery and just enjoy the moment. If you have the extra money you should do the VIP tour. They have their own bus that takes them through the Canyon where we save time by not waiting for the bus everyone else is crowding on. Also they are able to go straight into the restaurant without waiting in the 2 hour line. For peak season the VIP would definitely be worth it. If we go again we will choose that option.

They offered the Helicopter option and just when we arrive to the site they said that it was on maintenance, the food took almost two hours, the waiting list for photos 1 hour, time to skywalk 1hourtime to enjoy 1 hour. I'm just waiting for a the Helicopter refund.
