Overview

See the Grand Canyon on this day trip from Las Vegas and return in time to hit up the casinos. Explore the iconic South Rim on your own terms, saving the narrated tour for the drive through the desert.
  • Day trip to the Grand Canyon South Rim from the Las Vegas Strip
  • Explore the Grand Canyon on your own during unstructured time
  • Continental breakfast and deli-style lunch included
  • Hotel pickup and drop-off from your accommodation on the Las Vegas Strip
Meet your driver for an early morning pickup from your hotel on the Las Vegas Strip prior to your departure (confirm pickup time with tour provider). Begin your drive through the desert, stopping along the journey to stretch your legs at the Hoover Dam lookout point and the funky towns of Williams or Seligman along Route 66 in Arizona.

Upon arrival at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, spend your free time exploring at your own pace: walk along Hermit Road or Rim Trail, attend ranger programming, pop into the museum and gift shop, and of course, take in the view. Take your deli-style lunch with you to enjoy from one of the lookout points.

At the end of the day, return to the shuttle and drive back Las Vegas.

Although the south rim is closed due to COVID they still manage to give us a excellent tour of the West Rim . Everything was perfect . If you are someone who is afraid of heights ( like me) I would WAIT to buy the skywalk tickets till you are there to see if you can manage overall breathe taking experience !!!

Great way to spend a day.

Great value. Well organized. A shoutout to our guide/ driver Anthony. A good way to get a sample of the Grand Canyon. If you want a full experience it will take longer than a day and this is not the way to do it. The stops and the meals were adequate. Plenty of water and onboard videos explaining the sights. If you're going be sure to check the weather at the destination. It is not nearly as warm as Vegas.

Picked up on time. Some other passengers were late. Not the company's fault, but a reminder to future travelers to be on time. The bus was comfortable, but the video screen in front of me did not work, the driver/tour guide excellent. Hoover Dam a major feat. Grand Canyon a wonder. More than enough time to visit the Canyon. Picked up at 6, back at 11pm - a very long day, but really unavoidable to see what we saw

Tour was long but very worthwhile. Especially our guide Wally. Hoover Dam is amazing as well as the Grand Canyon. It was magnificent. I felt we had enough time. They also adhered to my food request and produced an excellent salad! Also enough stops along the way to use the facilities. Highly recommend the tour.

Grand Canyon by bus

Do you really think that it's a good idea to spend more than 11 hours in the bus and to have less than 3 hours at the place? Once there the bus driver let us do a short unquided hike. There was no other quide. We did the hike under pressure and took photos under pressure because we were afraid that we might return late and miss the bus. People who really want to enjoy the Grand Canyon shouldn't book this trip. This trip can be good be for people who are ok to see it for a couple of hours but note that the Canyon deserves more time!

Loved my time walking the trail. Weather cooperated with us Wished our time could have been longer. One thing I would change is the number of stops going to the canyon one less would have been ok

Weather can be a factor

Weather was some rain, drizzly, sleet, cold, which affected the views. The views that could be seen despite the rolling clouds were amazing nonetheless. The ride was pretty good. The videos could be better, screens were bit old. Food was pretty good. The tour guide, Jacky, was nice and informative. The bus had a leaky hatch from the rain. Overall it was a nice tour.

AWESOME TOUR to SOUTH RIM GRAND CANYON!!!

, Nov 2019
We planned this trip for months to see the Hoover Dam and South Rim of the Grand Canyon, this was a full day of sightseeing and we decided on SweeTours, Inc., from Las Vegas. To start the day, we were picked up from our hotel at 6:45 in the morning to a check-in starting point. At this location Wally our driver and guide proceeded to give us our continental breakfast of muffins, a bar, banana, juice, water and hot coffee. The bus was clean and comfortable! Wally was our driver as we left Vegas at 7:30, for our 1st of several stops before getting to the Grand Canyon. Wally was very knowledgeable and a good driver. Our first stop was at the Hoover Dam one of which is a MARVELOUS Monument. We stop for 30 minutes to take pictures. Back on the bus, about an hour and half down the road to a convenience store where we pick up Melissa another driver. We used the restrooms, brought items from store and was given our packed lunch of Deli style sandwiches choices of Turkey, Roast Beef, Ham with condiments and drinks then continue onto Route 66 store where they was filming. When we arrived at the Canyon, Wally advised us of the South Rim of Grand Canyon stating plenty of sites to see and explore from here. Bright Angel trail, Visitor Center Hotels, Lodges, and Gift Shops all here on the South Rim and it takes about 1hour to 45 minutes to walk. What can I say but Awesome, Amazing, Fantastic views, we saw deer crossing the road and various animals. The drive back was smooth; we stopped again at the convenience store to drop off Melissa outstanding driver who got us safely to the Canyon and to Wally our driver the kindest person and tour guide very knowledgeable who care about us. Wally dropped us off at our hotels back in Vegas. Thank You! Excellent Tour!!
