What To Expect

Begin your day of island hopping with convenient pickup at your Koh Samui hotel. Climb into an air-conditioned minivan and take off for Bang Rak Pier, on the north side of the island, where you'll disembark and dig into a light breakfast before your boat ride.

Step aboard the speed boat and watch the island scenery recede as you head out to sea.

Once you arrive in Koh Tao, take in the island's sandbar beaches and explore the bays and coral reefs. Visit Lighthouse Bay, Mango Bay, Tanote Bay or Ao Hin Wong before refueling with a traditional Thai lunch at Nang Yuan Restaurant.

pretty fun. but when we reached at pig island, it became windy so we couldn't do anything like snorkeling or sea kayaking. after the island the boat was quite bumping. still our kids enjoyed it. it was like a roller coaster for them. the last stop was the most fun for us. we jumped into the sea from the top of boat many times.

The snorkeling was probably one of the best I've ever seen in my life (and I've been snorkeling a lot..); however, it was a very long day and the ride to get to and from Koh Tao was 1.5 hours (that's 3 hours of traveling total). This wouldn't have been too bad because I like boats, but the boat we were on was very small and we were seated like a school bus (2 by 2). There was no room to move, dry off or apply sunscreen. It felt very cramped. In addition, the amount of time we spent on the "private island" was way too long. The sun is extremely strong and hot - we were on the beach for two hours and it felt like an hour too long. I would suggest a half day tour instead. (Also, the "private island" was PACKED).

Leider etwas enttäuschend. Ich habe mehr erwartet. Die Inseln waren schön aber man hatte nicht viel Zeit und ich wollte hauptsächlich die Strände erkunden, Baden und Sonnen. Schnorcheln wollte ich nicht, kann das daher nicht beurteilen. Leider war die Koh Nangyan so klein und überfüllt, das man dort kaum Platz hatte zu entspannen und zu sonnen. Das kleine Stücken etwas kann man nicht als Strand bezeichnen. Dort haben wir ca. 3 Stunden verbracht. Der Stop in Koh Tao war nur reiner Schnorchelstop, man hat vom Boot aus geschnorchelt ca. 1 Stunde (ich habe nur gebadet) und dann ging es wieder zurück. Das Boot war auch voll, ca. 60-65 Personen was nicht gemütlich war. Die Guides Sprachen sehr gut englisch und waren freundlich Und zuvorkommend so wie die gesamte Boot Crew. Das Mittagessen war lecker. Ansonsten hat die Fahrt gefühlt länger gedauert (1,5 Stunden in eine Richtung) als der gesamte Ausflug.

Der erste Halt mit dem Boot diente zum Schnorcheln.An der Stelle war das Wasser schön glasklar und man konnte bunte Fische sehen;). Danach ging es weiter zur nächsten Insel mit Lunch.Man hatte dort Zeit zur freien Verfügung.Die Insel war wirklich sehr schön.Alles in Allem ein gelungener Ausflug.Schade war nur,dass zum Schluss nach Tip gebettelt wurde.
