Immerse yourself in the stunning landscape of the Canadian Rockies during this excursion near Jasper. Breathe in some fresh mountain air, and keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife, as you experience some of the area's top natural attractions.

Start your outdoor exploration with morning pickup from select Jasper hotels, continuing by coach for your sightseeing journey. Head to Maligne Canyon, a magnificent gorge where you'll walk along the edge and cross two bridges offering dramatic views of the waterfalls down below. Continue to Medicine Lake, a relatively shallow body of water fed by nearby glaciers. You'll enjoy fantastic vistas of the nearby Colin and Queen Elizabeth mountain ranges in your field of view.

Then proceed to stunning Maligne Lake, where you'll take in more incredible views of the three nearby glaciers and the much-photographed Spirit Island. Make sure to watch for wildlife during your your stop at the lake, as the surrounding valley is home to a variety of moose, big horn sheep, deer and bears. Osprey, eagles and a pack of wolves are known to inhabit the area as well. Finish your trip with a drop-off back at your Jasper hotel.

We didn't go very far and that was perfect for us because we were only there for two days and didn't want to head out too far. We enjoyed getting off the bus for short scenic nature tours and seeing some of the interesting and beautiful sights that Jasper has to offer. We actually saw three eagle, moose dear and three brown bears. Great Driver and funny tour guide. The weather was too perfect!! We left at 9:30ish and were back by 1:50 Yay!

Maligne lake and Medicine lake are having such lovely views. We even did a cruise after the trip on maligne lake to get closer to the glacier. The falls and streams end route were so pretty. We got to see American black bears too. The maligne canyon was a good outing too.

The day was cloudy and rainy and the bus driver refused to do anything about the weather. However, I really enjoyed the tour and as it turned out, the overcast foggy weather made for some truly beautiful photos. The driver was polite, funny, upbeat, very friendly and informative about the history of the area. Even with the rain it was money well spent. All together a very enjoyable tour.

My husband and I were lucky enough to be on a tour with a very small group 5 people. With the small size, Mich our guide/driver was very flexible and accommodating. Since we were running ahead of schedule, he even made an extra stop at an overlook. A pleasant half-day tour taking in the must-see sights of Maligne Canyon and Maligne Lake. We got back to Jasper with enough time to go up the Tram for a hike.
