This tour was a disappointment, as I felt 90% of the tour we were taken to local business who tried to sell us various products. You only get about 10 minutes on the rowing boat on the canal, the rest of the tour is not really worth it.our guide was sick, so didn’t interact with us most of the day, he slept for over an hour in a hammock at lunch, we didn’t know what we were eating, or what the plan was. Very disappointing!

When your tour guide tells passengers that the Vietnamese worship white people’s skin color and they don’t want to be dark whilethere are people of color aboard, makes for a very uncomfortable tour. The tour guides need to “know their audience” in this case quite obvious before making such comments.

The tour included multiple stops, on different islands on the delta. We learned about the lives of the villagers, how they sustain themselves, their agriculture and animal husbandry.

I did a half day tour. The tour guide didn’t know much. Took us to places that seemed insignificant. Fell asleep at times. Pushed us to tip everyone for everything. For example we sat down and ate fruit as paid for upon purchase yet he wanted us to pay again. We were there for ten minutes so it made no sense. The river rides were good but that was about it. I heard later that you need to do a two day tour minimum. But what this tour bragged about was not included in my tour.

We had a nice time with other tourists who came from different countries. Our guide Fully speaks decent English and he was always willing to learn. We expect more war memory but bit surprised by all the sales of Mekong area's products. For our generation Mekong Delta is a place of sad sentiment and it was only our hope to pray for all the souls both Vietnamese, Americans and others.

This tour was extremely well-planned and well-executed. The guide 10 voice very professional and information given the participants was more then expected . The lunch was extremely good and we have not had the pleasure of having a lunch of this type in our whole visit to Vietnam. This tour is a must in Vietnam and is highly recommended

Fun tour. Pick up and meet point easy with good directions given. Good communication and tour guide was super knowledgeable and helpful. Seemed a little touristy (buy stuff from the places we take to please....) but not tons of pressure. Would recommend and use company again

This tour was OK. The transfer was quick and comfortable. Our tour guide, Phu, spoke very good English and was informative. The trip felt a bit rushed in places (coconut factory and bee hive/farm tea stop) and this was annoying as we stopped for over an hour for lunch. We finished lunch after about 20 minutes but then had time to lounge in a hammock. This was not necessary and the place that we were in was not particuly relaxing. This time would have been better spent exploring. The tradional boat cruise through the smaller channels was quite short, around 10 minutes. I expected to see a more rural side to the Mekong Delta and it was just a bit to false in terms of a forced attempt at showing life on the Delta.

Thuong aka Miss Love was our tour guide. She greeted us with a smile and made the whole day a fun and positive experience. My seven year old and I came to Vietnam from Okinawa, Japan and met our family from California. We loved riding in the boat and visiting the three islands. Throng was the best ever at ensuring a great day seeing the local culture while making a wonderful memory.

Not a bad day trip to get you out of the hectic city life in Saigon. My tour was a small group of 4. The Mekong Delta is a critical part of life in the region not only for Vietnam, but also many of the surrounding countries so it is definitely worth checking it out. There seems to be a standard route with this tour because we overlapped and ran into a number of different tour groups on the same route. Tour moves at a pretty good pace but like many of the other reviews state, seem to just take you along different areas to get you to shop from the locals. Lunch was a pretty good meal and give you a long break to take a nap. This could be a pro or con because some people definitely got restless and wanted to get things moving. Overall, a little expensive but not a bad way to spend a day!

Travel time was reasonable and air con welcomed as it was hot! The initial boat on the Mekong was cooling and pleasant. We were taken to various locations that make up the Communities of the Delta. The boat on the river was fantastic even if getting off was a challenge but then again, not everybody had Osteoarthritis of the Spine and a damaged left knee and lower leg. Many thanks to the 2 Oz 1 Kiwi guys that helped me throughout the trip. So consideration should be given to a reasonable level of fitness. We were fed several times - there is a small extra charge for the local delicacy of grilled rat!!! I passed on the that one but others sampled and it's the only place in the world where I have heard "I'll get the drinks" with the response "ok, I'll get the rat!!!" A great day with nice friendly people from around the World. A must do from Ho Chi Minh City.

Was surprised and delighted by this foodie-friendly tour that easily accommodated our vegetarians. English-language tour attracted Brits, Aussies, New Yorkers, and even travelers from France, Germany, and Switzerland, so make sure to enjoy that added bonus. Fresh fruits and veggies galore (even fresh honey from the hive). Alas, no floating market, but different forms of transport and fun food finds made up for it. Our guide Tam was a special delight!
