Returns to original departure point
Meet your guide in central Florence and hop aboard an air-conditioned, 4x4 minibus. Watch the city streets transform into the rolling hillside of Chianti, lined with vineyards and olive groves.

Your first stop of the day is at a winery belonging to one of the most prominent Italian families. Taste wines paired with cheese and olive oils, and enjoy a guided tour of the historic wine cellars. Travel to the olive mill through the villa's underground tunnels, as well as to the garden.

Afterward, head to a Tuscan restaurant and settle in for a 3-course meal, including regional specialties such as different types of fresh pasta and glasses of fine Chianti wine. (See the Itinerary for a sample menu).

Continue to a small, award-winning winery that specializes in Chianti Classico wine. Hear about the winemaking process while sipping and swirling delicious varietals.

Enjoy the last of your afternoon in the charming town of Greve-in-Chianti, where the Chianti Classico wine festival is held each year. Pick up a selection of typical salumi (cured meats) from one of Italy’s most famous butchers, before heading back to Florence.

Levi & Marco Super Tuscan Legends

Well..Don’t know where to start from. I was with my family from Boston, and our group was 12 people all together. Levi our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, humble, funny and caring person. She knows so much about the Tuscan wine region, she made sure everyone in our group felt comfortable, she even did accommodate dietary requests for the offered lunch. All 3 wineries are amazing, the restaurant location is unreal, see my attached picture, food is very tasty, and the wine is exquisite. What could someone ask for more? Marc our driver, was amazing as well, we were in a very comfortable coach van, we even encountered 10-15 goats napping in the middle of the road, where we had to wake them up to make Marco go through :) If you are in Tuscany, make sure you book this tour, it is worthy , do not hesitate! Thank you Levi & Marco for an unforgettable day in Chianti Classico region!!! Saluté

Excellent tour with Lavinia who was very informative and knowledgeable. She provided detailed commentary throughout. The wines tasted were great and the lunch was fantastic. It felt very bespoke and high quality unlike some of the mass volume tourism companies in Italy. Well worth the money. Recommended

This was a wonderful tour through the Chianti region. We so enjoyed learning about olive oil(s), cheeses and wines w/ Martina -- who is a sommelier and an absolute professional. This is a must-do tour if you are interested in 'stress free' wine tasting in Tuscany.

Amazing! My husband and I took this tour yesterday and it was a perfect day in Tuscany. The tour guide Martina was so friendly and knowledgeable, and was born and raised in Florence. She was so fun and personable! We are very covid cautious and we felt very safe, social distancing masks while inside and on the bus and outside as much as possible! The food was AMAZING and some of the best wines you will ever taste. It has been our highlight of our trip so far.

We had a great day on this small group tour through the Tuscan hills. Alex did an awesome job leading our group and his passion was quite evident for both Italian history and of the wine making process. All the wine, olive oil and food were delicious.
